Please come see this wonderful place! The Plaza is located at the confluence of the Big Thompson River and Fall River in the heart of Estes Park. There are wonderful bronze sculptures and the river is accessible to sit near and enjoy. There is a bronze saddle on a big river rock which makes a lovely photo opportunity for the whole family! The Plaza was erected after the 1982 Lawn Lake flood came through and scoured the downtown area. My father was one of the Townspeople who helped to create this Plaza and helped to fund some of the bronzes within the park. In June of 2015, the Town of Estes Park re-named this the George J.
