McDonald's — Restaurant in Estrella

Do not eat at this McDonald's.. I've lived up here on the hill for 18 years and I've driven around the country OTR as a commercial driver and I will tell you this is one of the worst McDonald's that I've ever been to as far as customer service.. food served fresh and hot.. attitude amongst management even.. maybe the actual manager do not know name but is a female ..may be the only positive that I have to say.. it's about the only time that I see employees doing their jobs is when she's there and I have even mentioned to her that they really need her there.. I also happen to hold a culinary degree which I very rarely speak of and I don't go around commenting or berating.. I very rarely have anything to say.. for this McDonald's those days are over I have walked with the health inspector through many establishments Ive done the cleaning myself and as one gentleman or somebody commented, check your food before you leave and Chorizo Production had it correct as far as if you're in the Drive-Thru and they should be moving people forward but if that's already happening there's a problem on the inside. I suggest any of you going through the drive-thru only step inside and take a look around there's an old adage that goes if you even just checked the bathrooms and if the restaurant doesn't even clean their bathrooms or their fountain drink dispensers then what are they doing with your food and it turns out to be pretty spot-on for most of the time for most places ..I'm just saying ..so whether you want to frequent this place or maybe offer comments or suggestions whatever you do check your food and do something.. I will no longer visit this McDonald's giving them plenty of opportunity and have been quite patient not going in there with an attitude or being mean and you might want to take my words to heart and at least check it out.. tonight I waited 10 minutes for cold food..went right back through the drive-thru it was approximately 12/13 minutes later and there was only two cars in front of me one had already ordered right behind me so this McDonald's need some work and I'm really more or less just concerned with the health of people do not eat bad food people there's too many places to go to..Taco Bell right...

5 Star review dropped to a 2 star because of constant mistakes on my orders placed via Mobile App.

On Sept 10, 2024 Placed mobile order. They were out of Apple Pies (we wanted 3 orders of 2 pies $6) BUT they were out of apple pies and offered to give me cookies instead I agreed BUT we only got 5 cookies not 6 - six cookies would have cost me $6 they could have told me they were short of cookies too and not send me home without a cookie so one person got jipped which was me cuz I didn't want to do that to anyone in the household.

Also I asked for no salt on my fries there was some salt.

I wanted a double quarter pounder with cheese plus an additional slice for $0.50 & nothing else... What I got was the standard double quarter pounder with cheese & no extra cheese.

This is not the first time they screwed up my order. They forget how to read at night?

I chose to use the mobile app because when I ordered through the drive-thru they kept making mistakes - with the mobile app staff just need to READ, it's there and I double-checked everything on the screen and they still make mistakes.

Also, no paper receipt - I did not think much of it since I have the order on my phone but that doesn't help if you have a gripe.

They need to send their employees to the high school that they're offering to pay tuition or some other training that would help them on reading and using the computer be it mobile app order or order placed at the location.

I have pictures with the date stamp on them if they want to see proof also I never got a receipt so it's not that easy to fill out the online complaint so I get lucky to do it on this instead.

Good luck trying to get someone to pick up the phone evenings at this location.

Date not visible to me, but around when mobile app came out: Way back when 5 stars...cleaner than other locations friendly staff fast service mobile app glitch, wouldn't let me place order later in the night... store was open but wouldn't let me place...

I ordered a deluxe crispy chicken with onions with a medium fry, large drink and a spicy with no Mayo add Mac sauce. When we received the order the deluxe crispy had Mac sauce instead of Mayo. I politely asked the manager Mary to add Mayo to the sandwich. She took the box to the back and immediately walked back and handed the sandwich to me. I checked to see if the Mayo was on the sandwich and it had appeared that the sandwich was untouched just the way I handed it to her. I then asked a different employee to have the kitchen remake the sandwich and gave them the ticket so they could get the order right this time. I stood at the front waiting to see what was happening having worked at this McDonald’s in the past. After about 5 minutes the manager Mary picked up a deluxe sandwich box and asked the kitchen if it was the one with onions added. Getting no response she opened the box and checked for herself. She then proceeded to go to the first side of the kitchen and without gloves on piles onions and lettuce onto my sandwich. I have pictures of this manager smoking outside on the job and I have a video of her breaking her cigarette and tossing it into the parking lot. She walks up to me and try’s to hand me the sandwich. I ask her “did you just make the sandwich without gloves on?” She tells me kitchen made it and she put more onions on. I asked her again if she used gloves and she said yes. I then told her I just watched her not use gloves. She then tells me she will have the kitchen remake it. I asked her to have someone with gloves make it and she says of course. Will be talking to corporate. I will not be lied to about unsanitary food while I led the kitchen at one...
