Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Eugene

It seems the River Road location has gone down hill over the past few years.

Having worked here, I hate to write a negative review but if nothing is said nothing will change.

Moments ago, I drove up to River Road Location and ordered two rebels. The woman at the window was nice and patient as I waited for a text from my gf as to what she wanted. Everything was great; I ordered mine, passionfruit with pom drizzle on top, and hers.

When I received the Rebels, hers was good but mine had the flavors blended. I informed the blonde in the pit that handed me the drink that it was incorrect and she seemed irritated that I informed her it was made wrong.

I normally wouldn't write a review on the visible irritation but how the correct drink was made is what irritated me. It was made without care with too much drizzle and terribly blended, (big ice chunks,) not smooth.

As a past employee it's sad to see the decline at this location. But I am happy to say that many of the others in town are thriving and hold the core...

Always friendly and great people here, and they make good drinks you expect from Dutch Bros. but this particular one is terribly set up. It is in a parking lot that has no good entrances from the road, the lines often block people trying to park to go to the other stores in the parking lot, and sometimes one line will be moving through 10 cars with an employee taking orders, while the other side is waiting for two or three cars to get through and have not even ordered, even when they have been there 10 minutes longer than most of the cars in the other line. Unfortunately there is no other Dutch Bros. within an acceptable driving distance (10 minutes or so) so I am often more tempted to skip it than wait, and am sure I am not the only one. If someone started another one of these in the area down river road, they would get a LOT...

I've been here three times. The first was for a smoothie. It was chuck full of ice cubes. Next when popping boba was going on. I asked what the 3 advertised beverages were & got Bubba Blue. I just couldn't remember the name from the email. Today I'm done. I had my own cup. Clean cup. Told dude with table my order in this mug & he said nothing. At the window I have her the money & mug but she only took the money. Then handed me the drink. I said I had my own cup & she said you can put it there yourself. Told her I wouldn't be needing the lid or second cup. I just got attitude. She turned her back to me said something to her her coworkers & they all side eyed me. I won't be back. I can't be the only person that uses their own cup or doesn't get why Dutch Bros uses 2 cups. Oh & extra hot....
