I’ve grown up around this area and gone here for years, generally the food isn’t too bad if your order is completed correctly. I’m specifically leaving this review because of an experience I had today that was so poor I may just not return again. I had to wait a few minutes for my order to be taken, understandable. The person who rang up my order Jacob was apologetic and generally was the best customer service to be had here. He gave me my drink before stepping away to help with drive through, I’ve worked fast food before I get how it is. When my food is delivered to the counter the man giving me the food was someone else I hadn’t managed to read his name tag unfortunately but he had brought my food out on a tray to dine in. I had used the kiosk to ring up my order (which usually helps me with my social anxiety) and my friend confirmed to me aloud when I told the man I had rung it in to go that that’s what I had selected. He attempted to shift the blame to the person who submitted the order, and again I understand it was busy it even looked a bit understaffed but it wasn’t the person who rang my orders fault. All Jacob would have to do is hit submit on it. I had filled it in with to go. That would be on the ticket. It was also a super easy fix! I asked him to get me a bag and his response was that might “take a few minutes” after again I had already been waiting nearly 10-15 minutes. Grabbing a bag and bagging food doesn’t take that long. I get maybe it was frustrating to a degree but that’s never something you take out on the customer. He proceeded to complain loud enough that me and my friend could both hear him. I wish he had stayed at the counter long enough to see his name because sir this big nasty review is entirely on you and your attitude around your customers. Do better. Thank you to Jacob though, he deserves appreciation for how hard...
Read moreThey don’t have cashiers anymore!! There is a convoluted and confusing Kiosk that was impossible to use for what I was ordering. (A dine in and a take out order combined.) One of the cooks came out and typed in my order for me. It seemed like 10 minutes to go through all the different screens to order 4 pieces of chicken. A human cashier would have taken the order in under 30 seconds. When I shared my concerns I was told that a lot of customers hate it and walk out but feedback doesn’t matter. KFC isn’t going to change. They do plenty of business without the customers that leave and the store will never close. I resolved that this was my last visit. Then while eating in the dining area a loud, piercing, screeching noise came on totally disrupting my attempt to have a relaxing dinner after work. When I asked if it was some kind of alarm they said it was just one of their fry cookers having issues but nothing to worry about. Clearly the corporate leadership at KFC considers loyal customers to be on par with the birds they fry. We exist simply to maximize profits. I’m no longer eating at KFC. I’ll get my fried chicken down the street and tell others to do the same. They still take drive thru orders with human customer service staff I think but I won’t be accessing that...
Read moreVery unpleasant visit the other night in the lobby of KFC. I understand being understaffed and being slammed during dinner rush. At least, that's what I overheard the manager saying to other employees while waiting for someone to take my order. I waited for over 20 minutes, and the manager, during that time, every passing said someone would be right with me. Someone finally came up to me, so I handed him a coupon and started to place my order, and he interrupted me, asking me if I was there to pick up or something like that. "No," I said he then turned around and walked away in the back, nowhere to be seen again. I saw another employee come into the kitchen cool as a cucumber opens a door, grabs some food, and dissapeared in the back. Meanwhile, there are at least six people in the lobby. Nobody's eating. They all are waiting. A customer comes to the counter to collect his order. After doing a quick Invitory of his food, he looks at me and says, "You're gonna be in here for about 45 minutes. I left after being in there for 25 min and not getting any service tried calling and waited in the drive thru cause I saw only 5 cars in line. That line never moved in ten minutes. I gave up after that. They didn't even seem that busy. C'mon guys pull...
