On my way to work, I decided to stop by Dutch Bros since it was conveniently along my route, even though it wasn’t part of my original plan. The drive-thru line was quite long, so I opted to place a mobile order while parked. My husband is handicapped, so we parked in the designated handicap spot, as we are permitted to do with our handicap permit.
While sitting in the truck and placing my order, I overheard one of the employees make a comment about us, not realizing we were in the process of ordering. Another girl chimed in, saying, “Is he just going to sit in the truck?” I found this unnecessary and disrespectful.
I walked up to the counter to check on our order, and the same girl informed me it wasn’t ready yet. I asked if it was okay for us to wait in the truck, and she said it was. However, she then asked if we could move, even though we were parked legally with our handicap permit in the designated spot.
This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s disappointing to hear employees discussing customers from the window, especially when they don’t have the full context of the situation. I felt discriminated against due to my husband’s handicap. Read moreWas in line stuck bc there is no way to leave once you enter drive thru for a good 35 min before 3 cars infront of me decided they had enough and pulled off. While in line I figure I set up the app and order since maybe it will be faster that way. Waited, decided to pull off and go to the walk up since I had already paid in the app and it took another 10 minutes. While standing there watching it made perfect sense why they were taking so long. 2 girls making drinks with zero sense of urgency and the guy that checked me in went and set down behind them instead of maybe helping. In reality only one of the girls was making drinks while other one was just there somewhat making a drink I guess. I’m not one to write reviews to be a Karen, but figure if I was the business owner I would want to know to maybe coach his team that 45 minutes for 2 coffees is not ok and if this location continues to have 3-4 cars pull off an hour that is a lot of money the business is missing on. Read moreThis was the second time I’ve gotten Dutch Brothers coffee early in the morning and this is the second time I’ve been extremely pleased with both my selection and Service. Lizzie I believe she’s the manager of the store was extremely helpful. The very first time I came in walking me through the Dutch Brothers way and this trip in the Broista who help me was as equally helpful, kind and courteous my apologies for not catching his name, but he was very extremely tall man it seems so I’m sure he is one of a kind. They should both be commended and Lizzie for being a good leader and for setting a good example. As I pulled up this morning, I witnessed Lizzy spraying down and cleaning the service entrance door to the building. She wasn’t just cleaning the see through window but the entire door right down to the concrete, which shows a great amount of pride and leadership on her part. Congratulations to the owners.
