Sadly never going back. The drive thru lady was very, very, very rude to me today. I wanted to order what I’ve called “grilled chicken fried rice” something I get for my mother every now and then from this place. Never had an issue until today. At the speaker I ordered using the phrase “grilled chicken fried rice.” This threw the lady off and it got her going. She asked what flavor I wanted and I just said grilled chicken with the fried rice. She persisted and asked about the flavor of the entree which confused me. She asked me to pull up to the window which I did and that’s where it got worse. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she loudly responds with “chicken fried rice”. I go yes and she just started raising her voice at me saying “why didn’t you say that instead!?”, pretty much over and over. I got rattled by her because I’ve never been treated like this before at this restaurant. She was very upset and if there’s video, you can definitely tell how loud and RUDE she was. I got frustrated and drove off because she didn’t care that she was yelling at me particularly . I’m still mad that she went nuts like this. ALL over an extra word which was “grilled” instead of “chicken fried rice”. I wanted to get that for my mom’s birthday lunch today but I went to Panda instead. I wasn’t intentionally trying to upset her because I’ve worked in the industry before so I’m more respectful in that regard. The food selection is good and the freshest when you go at first opening or when they run out and need to cook more. If you are one that is overwhelmed by different selections on your plate or don't like certain food touching, you may want to let them know prior to them fixing your plate if you order more than one entree. As with a lot of restaurants now, there is a certain percentage you pay for using a debit/ credit card vs cash. I noticed that a lot of reviews state the lady taking orders in the front is always on the phone and not listening or may get orders wrong. Although she is always on the phone, I have never experienced her getting my order wrong. She has even verified my order with me prior to fixing on a couple occasions. Read moreThis place is one of my favorite restaurants but lately they have gone really down hill. Not sure if it's the pandemic or the people just don't care to do there job correctly anymore. The past 3 times I've gone there they have been getting my order wrong on purpose. 1st with my friend she ordered FRIED RICE and the owner confirmed she wanted fried rice at the intercom then we got her food, my friend checked her food and was disappointed when she found steamed rice in the box, so I told the owner we ordered fried rice and to please change it, she started to argue saying No you ordered steamed rice when I did not but I insisted that she change it. The next two times my dad ordered my food and asked for Fried rice again and everytime the food was either spicy mixed with something else that was wrong or with steamed rice even after the owner confirmed it at the intercom.
