Went here last night to pickup the food I ordered online. After waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru to get my food, I was asked to pay when I got to the window. I had been waiting so long I forgot that I had already paid. Then the worker started to give me the food and it was not my order. I explained that I had already paid online for my stuff. He asked me to wait while he talked to a manager. He came back and gave me $12.50 in cash for the food I paid for with my card that wasn't mine, which cost $13.29. Yes, they refunded me $12.50 for a $13.29 order. I didn't care at this point because I just wanted my food. I was asked to pull forward and wait for my order. A few minutes later a very young looking skinny black guy came out that im guessing was the manager. He told me that they no longer had my order, they had given it to someone else, then just stared at me. Didn't offer to make my order and get it to me, just that it was gone. So I asked for a refund and was told that he couldn't do that because I ordered online, id have to try and get my refund that way. I pointed out that they're the ones that messed up and gave my food to someone else and now I've gotta go through all this to get a refund. His response, 'it was the same order.' Trying not to laugh I asked if he had said that someone had placed the same exact order as me. 'Yes.' I pointed out they ask for the name for the order. His reply, and I swear this is what he said, 'The order had the same name as you.' Lol. For confirmation, I asked him if he was saying that someone with the same exact name as me, placed the same exact order as me at the same exact time. 'Yes.' C'mon man! Lol. I understand that mistakes happen, but don't insult my intelligence with that mess. And the guy said it with a straight face. Then I asked if I could have their order, since it was exactly the same as mine. He said they had given them their order as well. This is the kind of stuff you cant make up. So now I'm going to have to go through corporate to attempt to get my refund and explain to them the kind of lying, incompetent management they have running...
Read moreWent there Monday May 9 for lunch. We have learned to walk inside for faster service because the drivethru takes forever. Dont know what happened in the last month because for the longest time the service was slow and a month or so ago it looked like they got all the area managers in there to light a fire under the staff. But yesterday the Service was bad. The girl at the counter wearing the mask (and not wearing it correctly anyway) takes our order but does not ask if we are dine in or to go. Of course 20 minutes later it comes out wrong. One guy ahead of us was waiting for his online order and I dont know if he ever got his meal. He told Us that he only has a limited amount of time for lunch (like the rest of us). My #2 meal was ok. My buddy ordered something new on the menu and was disappointed. I know whataburger is busy but this location has to have the slowest service or they have employees who really dont care about making the customers happy. One clue for the manager is to look in the dining room and seeing the number of people standing around waiting for their to go orders.
Went back May 16 and May 23. Somebody needs to educate TINA at the front counter to NOT put her fingers inside the drink cups when she hands them to the customers. Both times she sticks her fingers inside the cups after handling money, going outside and touching the door handles and handling trash. Oh…and using her foot to stomp down the trash in the wastebasket next to her looks appetizing. I am going somewhere...
Read moreWhataburger absolutely deserves five stars for both the food and the experience. Every time I go, I’m reminded why it’s such a popular spot. The burgers are cooked fresh to order, and you can taste the difference. The beef patties are juicy and flavorful, the vegetables are crisp, and the buns are always soft and toasted just right. I ordered a Whataburger with cheese, and it was stacked perfectly—every bite was balanced with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings.
The fries were hot and golden, not greasy, and paired perfectly with their spicy ketchup, which is something I can’t get anywhere else. I also had a Dr Pepper shake, and it was rich, creamy, and surprisingly refreshing—it’s definitely something that sets Whataburger apart from other fast-food chains.
The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. What impressed me most, though, was the service. The staff was friendly, patient, and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it. My food came out quickly, and even though it was busy, everything felt organized and well-managed.
Whataburger stands out because it doesn’t feel like a cookie-cutter fast-food place—it has a unique menu, big portions, and that classic Texas comfort food vibe. Whether you’re stopping by late at night, grabbing breakfast, or sitting down for a meal with friends, it always delivers. Definitely a go-to spot for great burgers and...
