Amazing Service and Food!

We had an amazing experience at SG Bedford. From the food to the drinks, especially the excellent service, it definitely made my night!

Food: The bread with honey butter was complimentary. They were in perfectly temperatures and the butter was whipped so well. The chicken tortilla soup (a part of my dinner combo) was so tasty and filling. I was almost full after having less than half of the bread and the bowl of soup. The steaks we had was perfectly done. It was tender, juicy and well marinated. The portion of the side order (sweet potato fries) was much more than I expected. They were crispy and tasty, too.

Service: The bartender was busy at the bar when we walked into the restaurant. He greeted us and let us know someone will be there with us. It showed they work as a great team. Waitress Kelly was very professional and friendly. She was very thoughtful and asked me if I would like to have a slice of lemon when I ordered hot water. From taking order to checking in on us during our dinner, she was very sufficient and approachable. When I mentioned to her I really liked the Texas Tea, she said she would let the bartender know. What a team! Also, a waiter stopped by and asked us if we were attended or not when he didn’t see any drinks or food on our table. We definitely appreciated how the team was trying to make sure we were being taken care of. The lady who served us dinner was very fast and friendly as well. I noticed she was walking by and serving us tables. She smiled at us when she was passing by. She was very observant. She offered to bring a takeout box when she noticed we finished eating and still had quite a bit food in the plate. She took away our plates subtly when she made sure we completely finished packing the leftover.

Overall, we enjoyed everything and every minute there. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience, SG...

Terrible experience. Here’s my side.. normally I just share feedback with management while I’m there but this visit was bad so I’ll share my experience here. We arrived around 5:15 PM on a Friday. There was four of us and we were seated right away.. after 10+ mins and seeing another table after us get served drinks we told the hostess we’ve been waiting for a server.. when we ordered our food we requested the appetizers and kids meals come out asap and a ribeye to share come out later.. after some time it felt like the steak should have come out but I’m not there to time them.. so whenever the steak does arrive it’s missing some shrimp topping and the steak was obviously overcooked when we asked for medium rare. The shrimp topping took an extra 15 mins to come out and I guess it was a joke when it was placed down such that they called it “deconstructed” since the shrimp topping wasn’t prepared as normal but all the ingredients for the shrimp topping were placed separately on a plate. I won’t fault the server for the food delay but I think they should have caught the overcooked steak and the missing shrimp topping. We spoke with someone about our dissatisfaction during our meal and they offered us a free dessert and we accepted. However when they brought the dessert it was boxed up so it felt like they wanted us to leave. I don’t know how it was assumed we wanted the dessert to go. The server could have came back one more time to refill our drinks. I think one issue is not a big problem but it felt like there was one issue after another or after one issue everything became an issue. I did get a call from David later that evening apologizing.. but at this point I rather travel further to a different location rather than come back here. RoadHouse is up the road and I haven’t had a bad experience there so we’ll likely just go there before...

My husband and I chose to go to Saltgrass Steak House for our wedding anniversary last weekend and it was the best decision we had made together in a very long time! What a wonderful restaurant!! We had a fantastic experience and can not wait to return!

The atmosphere was lovely and the courtesy we received from each and every staff member was spectacular! Jess was our waiter and I can’t help but think we had the best one there! He was polite, helpful and fun!

The menu is full of so many mouth watering choices and it’s almost impossible to pick a drink as the the drink menu is chalked full of lusciousness! I chose a Dirty Martini with Tito vodka with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives!!! It was spectacular! My husband order a huge Margarita with a Bottle of Martini and Rosse upside down in it!! He loved it!

The appetizers were plentiful on the menu and we had Crab Cakes!! They were undoubtedly the BEST we had ever eaten! No joke! Awesome!! Their salads are lovely and I ordered a Smothered Filet with a side of Brussels Sprouts which were shredded and wonderful! My Filet was perfect!! It was cooked perfectly and smothered with a divine mixture of onions and mushrooms! Most restaurants just throw a little piece of meat on a plate and call it quits...not Saltgrass! My husband had the steak and shrimp and said he loved it.

Dessert was a huge piece of 3Forks New York Cheesecake which we split and it was incredible! What a meal and what a wonderful experience! We can not wait...
