The 1883 — Attraction in Eustis

I didn’t realize how important it was to find the perfect venue but the moment we saw photos of The 1883 to then our first visit; we knew it was the right venue for us! Nina is a gem and made sure every detail of my wedding was absolutely perfect! We received so many compliments about the venue and how elegant it was. The bridal suites were perfect and so fitting for both parties to get ready in. The venue is only a few blocks from the lake so you're able to take beautiful photos after the ceremony. A non-negotiable for my husband and I was to get married in a wedding chapel and specifically for my husband, wedding bells which The 1883 has both! There was plenty of parking at the venue. Our ceremony started at 4:30pm and the lighting in the chapel was perfect for an evening wedding even though it was raining. We heard that’s good luck too! We packed out the venue with our huge Italian and Puerto Rican families and closest friends but it wouldn’t have been the same in any other place...

We recently had our wedding at the1883 and it was outstanding! The venue is beautiful, with vintage charm and was the perfect backdrop for everything we wanted our wedding to be. We could not have asked for anything better. Both Nina and Patti were responsive and able to help make our wedding day dream come true. The question I kept asking myself was “How don’t more people know about this place?!” It truly is a hidden gem. The second you say “wedding” to any other venue, it seems that the cost goes up, but the1883 was competitive with pricing for what we needed and wanted. I would recommend the1883 to anyone hosting a smaller event. We had approximately 40 people at our wedding, and it was intimate and perfect for us. THE best location one can have a wedding ceremony at, especially if you're the vintage type. Very intimate and gorgeous space, well maintained and clean. Location is also surrounded by beautiful sites that can easily work for photo sessions a stone's throw away.
