Diablo's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Evans

2022-04: My experience with this Diablo's has ranged from dining in to using a third party delivery service. My most recent visit was dining in and it was okay. We got through the ordering line quickly and our party had a chicken bowl, steak bowl, pork quesadilla, large cheese dip, and drinks. The food was tasty with good portions. About half of the fountain drinks were out of order and there were no utensils out for us to grab. The staff was okay for the most part, all teenage guys, who were all working busily, but one in particular was a little short with us. Nothing major, but something I noticed after having previous service industry experience under my belt of 15+ years. The restaurant was clean or current being cleaned as other patrons left. The outdoor seating is great, and I definitely sit outside when the weather permits. Overall, everything was still good and I'll continue coming here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Diablo’s, a gem tucked away in evans. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. The customer service was horrible from the start. We ordered a kids meal and two adult bowls with a side of guac and queso. My husband was feeding our daughter, and I reminded him that I had gotten the guac and queso. He mixed some guac into her food (she LOVES guac) and she immediately spat out the next bite he gave her. I took a bite of mine and it did not taste right. My husband smelled the guac and it smelled awful. When he went up to the counter to tell them; the girl employee immediately got an attitude and felt the need to call over everyone else on staff. They then proceeded to argue with my husband that the guac was fine (even though it was brown).
