Worst Memorial Day experience ever. I recently had Shane's catered to the office for our Physician and staff. I thought it would be nice to treat the kids to BBQ for the holiday. I ordered Curbside Pickup. Although I arrived early I went ahead and informed them that I was there. I was told they'd bring it out when its ready. I waited 40 minutes. Watched someone pull up and leave with a super huge order in less than 5 minutes. So I go inside to ask about my order. A young lady goes to the back and ask about my order, a young man rudely yells "Of course I dont have an order for her, why would I?". As if I wasn't supposed to be served. Which was very rude, almost felt racist...
They tell me that they are out of one of the items and won't be able to fill the order. They didn't offer any alternatives so I ask for a manager. Find out she was standing here for the whole interaction but just had not spoken up. They offer a refund, but refuse to make any food at all. They basically acted as if they saw me in the parking lot and determined that i didn't deserve to be served at their establishment.
They probably would have cleaned and closed the whole store, then left me waiting in the parking lot... I spoke with Mark by phone who says he was a general manager. His only solution was a refund. He didn't seem to care and kept coldly asking "what do you want me to do?" And acted as if he didn't care... Afterwards the employee told me that Mark is also the owner.
Instead of calling me, or informing when I called... they chose to let me sit in their parking lot over 40 minutes while other restaurants close, knowing they didn't plan...
Read moreI called in my order which was a hamburger combo when i got to restraunt brown haired girl told me 5 mins i waited 20mins i seen people order on the spot and recieved their food before me so i ask employee the same brown haired girl who took my money how long will my order be she told me hold on and she went on to go serve a group of guys who came in and ordered while i was sitting there their order.She came back and looked on the back counter and grabbed my food that had been sitting there the whole time and slid it to the blonde haired girl and walk off to the back she didnt apologize or nothing.The blonde haired girl looked like she nervous about giving me the food because she knew it had to be cold she even forgot my drink until i told her i need a cup for my drink.They should have offered to remake my food even tho i was in a slit hurry and wouldnt have had time they could have atleast offered. needless to say i took a bite of my burger in the car and just throw the whole plate away in nearest trashcan.I notice all the young guys who came in for lunch had their full attention thats maybe why my order was overlooked if i ever go back which( i probably want) it want be around lunch...
Read moreI like Shane's..I don't live close so when I vist I have to go out my way to vist this place...Visited around 12:30 on Friday ..no excuse why my food wasn't hot and incorrect after I patiently waited in the lounge.. The young guy that took my order I asked did they have bottled water and he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and didn't respond so I told him nevermind I didn't want a fountain drink due to the constant use of the customer due to Covid-19... While waiting I went to wash my hands at the sink where the tables were and heard my name called. I immediately went over to get my order there was a young female looks like she was trying to fix a computer instead of getting me my order had me to wait after she was done. My food was right there beside her in a bag I'm not the type to argue with anyone at a restaurant when dealing with my food so I got my order it was not correct.. had to wait even longer by that time the food that was correct in my order was cold PS I looked on the menu and it said they do offer bottled water. I guess that's just a display...
