Foster Deli — Restaurant in Evanston Township

I’ve gone there many times, and at first it was my favorite quick shop to hit up. However, less than 20 mins ago I was inside and they (Non Black) was not only saying the n-word but once I heard and looked at them and one started laughing, I left out, and overheard one of them (there were three inside behind the counter) say the N word with the hard R. I was already walking in hearing them from outside and overheard them ask me under his breath if I wanted to “get sturdy” due to the music he was playing right before I walked in and turned off once they noticed they had a customer. I didn’t think anything of it due to them being my age and it being funny, but the rest made it really clear what they meant by that too. They can listen to our music, but can’t keep the slurs...

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was immediately impressed by how clean and organized the shelves were! Lots of fun snacks and beverages as well as smoke shop needs! In the back of the shop there’s a deli section, and I tried the honeylicious turkey sandwich with some slight modifications. The sandwich was fairly priced and really tasty!
