I visited AZZIP last night 12/11/2020 around 7:00 o’clock with my son. We ordered two big zips and they asked us if we minded to wait a minute while they fixed curbside order. (No problem we weren’t in a hurry) I paid for the pizzas as we got them to go and walked outside got into the vehicle only to realize one pizza was wrong. I took the wrong one back in and asked the guy that rang me up if I could have our pineapple one as the pepperoni was not ours. He was rude told me he got the order wrong and proceeded to tell me the Italian Stallion was sitting there and we didn’t get it. I said no we have it we just need the pineapple. He demanded I was wrong and to bring the other back in. So I did! I was at this time upset with his smart attitude and not happy. I took the right one back and the lady grabbed our pineapple and handed to me. I asked for his name he turned and would not speak to me at all. I asked for a manger and she was busy and handed me off to another guy. I asked him the guys name he also refused and said he didn’t know if he was aloud to give employees names out?!?!! Is this the way you treat people?!!!! I was never once told they were sorry for getting the order wrong. I wasn’t even mad about any of this until the kid was so rude and hateful. I understand being busy I get it. I own a small business and I would NEVER treat anyone like this!! I will forever pass your establishment up!!! Also, the pizza I brought back I watched you guys put in a bag that went to curbside. You are NOT supposed to serve anything that goes out and brought back...
Read moreIt was my first visit and I was sadly disappointed. Upon first entering the restaurant I was surprised to see how long the line was to order. This made me feel great about my decision to try this place out. The line moved fairly quickly and I ordered my pizza. So far so good. Then as I watched the pizzas coming 9ff of the conveyor, I saw a very burnt, seemingly inedible pizza come off the conveyor. I assumed it would be thrown away immediately with an apology to the customer ahead of me. But to my astonishment, the associate tried to serve the pizza to the customer. Obviously, the customer asked for it to be remade. While all of this was transpiring, my pizza had been cut and placed next to the register, along with several pizzas behind me. When it was my turn at the register, I was asked if it was for here or to go, and I said to go. It was boxed and I was on my way. Once in my car, I decided to try a piece. To my disappointment it was already ice cold. So my suggestions to azzip pizza are as follows: Get more registers. The line would move much faster. 1 just isnt cutting it. Invest in a warmer. That way when problems do arise, peoples food wont have to sit out in the cold. Train your employees to never serve food they wouldn't...
Read moreMy husband and I ended up driving to Evansville, Indiana this weekend to view the Eclipse on Monday. We decided to stop at an old favorite, Azzip Pizza. (It’s been about 4 years since the last time we were there.) There’s a chain that is similar here in the Atlanta area, only NOT near as good! Azzip only has thin crust, you customize your pizza toppings and they run through an oven that takes (maybe 3-4 minutes)?
We were both impressed that we could order our old favorites and it tasted EXACTLY the same as the day they opened for business!!
If you’re NOT a foodie, you prolly won’t get this one. Here’s my all time fav pizza at Azzip. Imagine the sauce is swirled on with big empty spaces in between. Red sauce (in the in between space ) garlic sauce Chicken, green pepper, mushroom, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, pineapple. I wouldn’t try this combination Anywhere else, but here, it WORKS!
My only complaint here is that sometimes you get people who are SUPER STINGY with the toppings. I wanna say the Big Zip is 11 inches and a little pricey at $9.45, so I’d appreciate it if the toppers matched...
