Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Evansville

I never write reviews or try to be harsh on employees because I know that it is hard to work in customer service. However, when I went into the store it was an hour before close and the person working got extremely annoyed saying they were about to close but I was there disrupting it. The person was vocally angry I had walked on the floor they had just mopped, saying I was ruining the floor. What was I supposed to do, levitate to the counter? I felt extremely uncomfortable and only ended up getting a side, and it wasn't even right. I understand things happen, but I have never felt so upset and treated poorly before. Definitely will...

I've lived in Evansville forever and have went to this LJS probably 100's (or 1000's) of times. Every time I've gone recently, I ask for the fish to be cooked fresh. If I don't it will be old and dry after sitting under that lamp for who knows how long. I went again today for my lunch and the lady said that she just got the fish out of the grease before I pulled up. Well the fish was dry and it did not appear to be freshly out of the grease at all. Long John Silver's used to be one of the best places to eat! Nowadays though, each and every Long John Silver's I've been in, it seems like they haven't changed their grease in many many years. Absolutely everything tastes the same. And as long as you don't mind your face breaking out the next day or, hitting the bathroom about 20 or 30 minutes after eating there, I guess it's okay. Gotta say, I still love the hush puppies (I got 10 of them on the side with my meal the last time I ate there and I was only expecting three or four) and, I will probably always love the lobster bites when they return!
