Mister B's Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Evansville

Saturday night packed house but very reasonable 30 min wait to get in. I ordered the lemonade and if you like it sweet and full of flavor then you'll love it. We ordered a cheesy breadstick appetiser and I went out on a limb to try the buffalo shrimp. The shrimp looks great what you would imagine but the taste...that's something I couldn't get out of mouth the rest of the night. I though at first the shrimp may have went bad so I stripped one down to try. It's something in the batter that's throwing it off. Now I love buffalo sauce and love trying new things and yes I know its a pizza and wings, hence why though if you have a buffalo shrimp I wanna try. I had my wife try a small piece of the batter and her reaction was the same as mine. Now putting that aside the atmosphere was nice, we ordered a wide range of things on the menu, wife had wings, daughter had mac n cheese and boys had pizza and grilled cheese. My daughter could not stop eating the mac n cheese, it looked like kraft from a box so my wife tried and was blown away. We eat a lot of mac n cheese both store and home made so it was a hit. My oldest boy put his away no complaints. My middle son said the pepperoni was spicy but still loved the pizza. My wife loves honey barbecue wings but decided to try something new so she went for the mild. I thought they tasted just right but to her they where pretty hot, just so you know she doesn't do hot at all. I ordered a house specialty chicken and bacon ranch pizza. Perfect was absolutely delicious, only problem I was having is my cup was still empty from when we had gotten our appetizers. This started to get worse to the point I had to push my cup to the edge of the table. Now yes still a little busy at this point but not as crowded and we are by the kitchen door. My waitress came by several times then noticed the cup and then probably three to five minutes later brought a fresh one. Now you would think that if one cup was empty you would glance or ask if anyone else needed a refill...yeah didn't happen. Ended up sticking another up as she came by again. So I tried to put those two things behind us and focus on the place itself and the possibility of coming back. We will, all n all the food was great and the waitress may have just been past her limit on what she could do. Looking forward to another house speciality when...

Went to Mister B's before the Thunderbolts hockey game on 2/9. Arrived and was seated quickly. I personally had never eaten at either location of Mister B's. We ordered a couple appetizers. We did the pick 3 we chose fried pickles, mushrooms and mozzarella bread. Also ordered breadsticks and two different flavors of wings (not pictured forgot to take a picture of them). Also ordered was a super deluxe XL thin crust pizza. I really liked the pickles they are thin pickles not the thicker ones the mozzarella breadsticks were good as well. The only thing I did not like was the nacho cheese it was just on the thin side. The wings were good and nicely cooked. The pizza was really good. I really enjoyed that the toppings were on the pizza evenly and the crust was nice and crisp. We did order drinks beer and a strawberry lemonade with vodka which as SUPER good I could drink those all day long.

Service was good the server checked on us many times and knew when we were done and offered boxes without us even asking. We made it to the game on time. Very pleased with the length of time it took for the food to come out. There wasn't a long wait for anything after putting our order in. And the left over pizza heated up well in the air fryer the next day. Definitely will come back and try some...

Ok. I am going with four stars but that is an average. The service was great (one minor issue but not taking anything off for it) and the food tasted great. The environment was as expected and desired. I would have given a 5 on these alone.

However, it was hard to predict what to order since apparently the chicken wings are the smallest in the industry. Really I have never seen wings this small. I really though 20 was going to be way too many but the next size down, 10, didn’t seem like it would be enough. But the 20 had less meat than 10 would have anywhere else I have ever had wings. For this I would have given at best a rating of 3 maybe even a 2.

The waitress was super nice and took good care of us but she does lead to the one minor issue. We ordered 20 wings and a medium pizza. She said if we changed that order to a large pizza there was a deal and it would actually be a couple dollars cheaper. But after we agreed she forgot and put in the medium pizza anyway. She apologized but that was it. I wasn’t really looking for anything else so that was fine but not excellent customer service. Again for me this is a mention but not a star loss.
