NORI JAPAN EVANSVILLE — Restaurant in Evansville

My wife and I were craving Asian food on a Monday evening, but many of our usual spots were closed. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it led us to pick up Nori for the first time. It did not disappoint.

The food was cooked fresh to order, and every bite was delicious. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and flavorful, while the teriyaki sauce stood out as rich, savory, and truly exceptional. Portions were very generous; my wife and I shared a single entrée and still had leftovers to enjoy later.

Do NOT eat at Nori Japan in the Eastland Mall. I gave them a shot and there was a black curly hair in my food. I politely asked them to make me another since I was only 3-4 bites into my plate. They asked me to see the hair but I had instinctively plucked it out and threw in on the ground already. They denied me and said “next time show me the hair and I refund you”. To which I said “there won’t be a next time.”

I didn’t want a refund..just a meal without a freaking pube in it. Spent $13 here and threw the food away. Should have stuck with...
