In early May, I lost the center stone to my wedding set. I was devastated. At that point, because we did not purchase my original pieces locally, we made the decision to stay local. We did not know of if we wanted to replace the stone or upgrade to something that would match our active lifestyle. After nearly two months of researching and visiting local jewelers, we were drawn to Helzberg (three different times actually). The end of June, my husband called and spoke to Becky and explained our situation. She invited us to come in and speak with her. She was nothing leas than amazing! She had several ideas in mind to share with us and was also prepared to have us in the private room to view loose stones.
One of the ideas she presented took our breath away. It captured his love of a solitaire and wrap and mine of the nontraditional round and wider anniversary band. What I ended with was a stunning cushion cut solitaire and 4 row wrap with cathedral center rows. The Master Jeweler took ultimate care in sizing it perfectly and making the most beautiful set I have ever seen in my life!!
We are forever grateful to Helzberg but especially to Becky. She took the time to listen to our story, to learn about us, and helped to capture exactly what we wanted. Her knowledge was exceptional!

Read moreShockingly pushy sales team latched on and wouldn't let go until they'd conned us into signing up for a store credit card under the lie of "just checking to see if you qualify for financing."
Now I've got a store credit card with absolutely ridiculous APR and the hard credit check that comes with opening a new line of credit. You know, the thing one usually does after some forethought.
From the lighting that flashes every few seconds to make the diamonds look extra shiny to trying to separate my fiance and I so both of them could focus on guilt-tripping me into taking a payment plan that would turn a $700 ring into a $2,000+ ring over a painful six-ish years of payments. Every single motion and comment felt carefully chosen to talk the couple into a ring. Even with multiple assurances that we had no intention of buying that day, new layers would be added to the deal to be more enticing.
First the idea was to make a wish list, then they slapped us with the garbage credit card, then suddenly the verbiage changed from future to past tense as they began referring to one as "your" ring. One attendant produced a Google Home kit with the comment "this is yours" because purchases over a certain amount come with one.
Pushy, manipulative, the kind of place to convince one Etsy is preferable to shopping...
Read moreThis is the worst jewelry store I have ever done business with. No kidding. I special ordered a Mother’s Day ring and when I was called to come pick it up it had the wrong stones in the ring so I pay more money to have the right stones put in the ring. They mentioned how much it was and I accepted to pay that but was asked to pay more when I got there pick it up. Not to mention at this time I’m out over 1000$ on this ring. ( they can’t do refunds on special order rings is what I’m told ) so they call me to come get the ring after the stones are fixed, when I get there it’s the wrong size and won’t even go on my finger and one of my kids name engraving is missing from the band. When I explain it’s missing the engraving and it’s a different size than it was the last time I came to pick it up. they proceeded to tell me all they can do is send it back once again and I will be out more money. I let them send it back where they said I wouldn’t be charged anymore. I’m waiting for it come in now. This place is ridiculous. Only giving one star because the option for no stars...
