We have a toddler and ordered a pizza online for curbside pickup on a busy night. Our child has a dairy issue, so we ordered a pizza with no cheese on half of it, not seeing any vegan cheese options on the menu. I got a phone call shortly after from the restaurant letting me know that they just got a vegan cheese in and whether I would like that instead of no cheese. What an exceptional way to anticipate a customer’s needs and provide options. I’ve had a lot of vegan cheese since becoming a parent, and this was THE best. My husband prefers not to eat vegan cheese and even commented at how great it was. I wouldn’t have known the difference between it and regular cheese. The same comments applied to the reheated leftovers we had - no change in quality or taste. Additionally, I asked them if there was a way to indicate which half was vegan cheese and which was regular. We’ve ordered pizza from another place that didn’t mark it, and the waiter and kitchen staff couldn’t tell us which was which. It was very frustrating, as we’d explained our child’s issue. However, Pangea’s kitchen staff used a zero-waste marker. They put some shaved carrots on top of the edges of the pizza with vegan cheese to indicate the difference. Our service was also prompt and the food delicious. I cannot give a higher recommendation, whether you dine vegan or not. You can find good food many places, but a place with service as great as the food is a gem. Thank you for exceptional efforts for our child and our dining experience. Give...

The workers were very friendly and welcoming. The pizza is original. It was good and seemed to use fresh ingredients. The crust was excellent. As far as service: they only bring food to the table. They never removed dishes when you were finished. As we were sitting at a very small table as it was. They don't give you refills on drinks you do that your self. Not a big issue just no service. (Update from previous post: they now have fountain drinks)

Atmosphere: The building is cool itself. Old brick and refurbished building. We had never been here before so we had sat down stairs. Apparently there are two levels and two restaurants with what appeared as having a connecting kitchen?? Not sure.

But if it is all connected, I'd recommend trying the upstairs for sit-in experience, the sit in Atmosphere down stairs made you feel pushed aside. No service, air was cold and unwelcoming in there being that it was winter time they had air on???

However pizza was delicious, Gelato...

For a $23 14” Pizza you surely expect some good enough full filling toppings!! 1/4th of the pizza slice has dry crust. Chicken and bacon are barely there in the pizzas and you can literally count the pieces barely any cheese on it. The flavor is good no doubt in that! But not enough toppings for the price point. I will skip the pizza from this place their Ramen place is good but not the Pizzeria. The server was also kind of seemed to be lost. Asked for chili oil and she confidently said it was going to be in the pizza box and it wasn’t there rather than checking or just handing over 2oz of chili oil. Hope this will help either to save your money and spend it somewhere else for pizza or help the restaurant management to improve the...

Pangea on the west side! I've been in a hole under a rock or something. Get a bigger sign out front! Sheesh. 😄 I enjoyed the place very much, I'll start being more regular now that I know where you are! The cupperoni pizza (not a typo) is pretty solid. It's a big slice, greasy and on a nice crust. There's a hint of sweetness in the sauce that you don't expect, and it adds a tasty complexity to the meal. Inside the building looks great. There's not a ton of seating, but there is some. The kitchen staff moves fast and is helpful. Prices are reasonable- around 5 bucks for a big New York slice.

I am a craft pizza snob, so a 4 star review is pretty high for me. Pangea is thin crust pizza with better than average ingredients. The pizza I wanted wasn't available because they sold out of meatballs. But I got the pepperoni one. It was really good. A ton of pepperoni on it, and the thick cut kind. Great flavor. Some kind of honey sauce really gave it a unique twist that was welcomed. Price was a bit high, over $20 for a 14 inch. But it lasted 2 meals. Also tried the gelato, which was good. Staff was nice, neat downtown setting. I would go back.
