I’ve visited this bar a few times while in town for work and usually had a decent experience, but my most recent visit was disappointing and uncomfortable. I was sitting at the bar by myself, next to two other women I didn’t know. When I received my receipt, I noticed it was labeled with “Bgirl.” When I asked the server about it, they said it meant “bar girl.” That explanation didn’t make sense, since my receipt was already categorized as “bar,” and there were other women seated nearby whose receipts did not have the same label. I was surprised and uncomfortable to see “Bgirl” on my receipt—especially as I was the only Black woman in the bar that evening. When I brought it up, the server, Reid, was very cold and unwelcoming. Both Reid and another waitress remained distant afterward, offering no warmth, explanation, or reassurance that their establishment would never label a patron as “Black girl” on their receipt. Regardless of intent, labeling customers in a way that could be interpreted as referring to race or appearance is unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews their staff practices and point-of-sale system to ensure every guest feels respected and valued.

If you want some hole in the wall vibes then this is your spot. We tried the onion rings, German bologna sandwich and cheeseburger. All very good. Make sure to load up the juke box with your favorite tunes as well.

If we could give this place no stars we would. We were sitting in the corner by the Jukebox. We ordered a drink each and 4 appetizers and a bacon cheeseburger. We haven’t even finished the appetizers or a second drink and made a phone call. We were told we were being to loud and needed to end the call or go outside. We weren’t being loud we were having conversations laughing. But the table beside us was smoking their POT vape inside right behind us. The bartender knew this was going on because the whole place on our side smelled like POT. He even went to the table as they just had hit it again and never said a word. Just know you can go to Peephole and do you drugs inside and it is ok. But don’t laugh too much you’ll get in trouble. We will never be back. Just lost at least three...

This is a small hole in the wall bar that sits on the corner slot of a large shopping area. We went in, not knowing what to expect, and we were pleasantly pleased. With inflation causing price rises everywhere, this place said to hell with that and kept their prices nice and affordable. I got the chicken tenders, and for 6.50, I got a huge portion of tenders. We had a party of 4 and the food and drinks cost us around 35 dollars. It's insane to think about considering a trip to mcdonalds or other chains that will cost the same amount, and the food quality won't be near as good. The fried pickles were great. The tenders were nice sized, hot, and juicy. The onion rings were excellent. When we are back in the Evansville area, we will for...
