QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Evansville

Would not recommend for catering in the evening. They majorly messed up my order. They provided us with the basics, chicken, tortilla, ridiculous amount of chips, and a tiny portion of rice. We paid extra for additional sauces and toppings, because we were feeding picky children and the adults prefer a made up taco or burrito bowl. Upon pickup I could tell it was nearing the end of the day and the employees were all migrated toward the front waiting and socializing. I asked before I left if everything was there or if I needed to double check. They assured me it was all there. I drove 25 minutes back home to open the bags and realize 90% of the toppings weren’t there. Now had I not specifically asked and given them the opportunity to double check I would likely have brushed it off, but this was not the case. It was near closing time so I called the next morning. The Manager answered and apologized about the missing items. He had already seen our items in the fridge that morning. Now I wasn’t expecting anything huge, but all I was offered was an explanation that the evening catering isn’t on point and often misses items and he refunded me the amount for the missing toppings, which of course wasn’t a lot. I thought it was a joke at first. We were given an incomplete meal and they more than likely used the untouched toppings in the store that next day. So they didn’t miss out on any business or revenue, but my friends and family had to eat a bland incomplete meal, because of their error and a common error at that. He told me he’d send a meal voucher or 2 in the mail, which partially made me feel like they were trying to make things right. This was a month ago and nothing has come. I am frustrated at the lack of true customer service and concern and the deception with the vouchers. I will no longer be using them in the future...

So I leave work today with a craving for Qdoba. Keep in mind I work 45 mins from Evansville and then there's an extra 20 min drive to this Qdoba. So I check online for the hours of operation and see 11pm closing time. Great I'll make it with time to spare only to get there at 9pm and open the door to be told by an employee that they were closed. Apparently they close at 9pm. I told the employee that the online hours say different in which she replies "Oh yeah the hours are messed up on there." So needless to say I'm more than alittle upset that after driving over an hour to get there I did not get what I came for. So riddle me this everyone... if apparently the employees of this restaurant know that the only way to find out online whether or not this location is open is wrong why hasn't it been fixed yet. Overall very unprofessional and that's the last time I'll be attempting to spend...

Simply put, this place used to be excellent like 3-4 years ago, they had awesome tasting food and toppings.

Since then though, like.. 3 years ago, the original owners left and the flavor and everything about the essence of the restaurant left with them. It’s truly sad to see how downhill and rundown this place has gotten. The food is so bland and I haven’t see them grilling any food like they used to every time I’d come in before.

Not to mention there’s a roof leak by the register and food. Atleast there was a sign stating so.

Either way, that’s a safety violation and someone should go and get that looked at ASAP.

I wonder how much longer the location on Burkhardt has left until they close down shop. The service isn’t terrible, honestly,
