My review stands on the day that we were there but since then I have seen where people have gotten moldy buns, in fact my granddaughter got a moldy bun. So I see now where two different Sonics have had moldy buns served, so I won't be going back to sonic anymore and I give them One star, down from 3 stars. Following is the review for the day we were there. My wife and I went there only because it was Saturday at noon and every restaurant in town was slammed. With the social distancing inside the restaurants, they just can't seat many. Sonic was slammed as well, we waited a good 15-20 minutes before they even asked for our order. However, we received the order fairly quickly. My breaded chicken sandwich was good and hot, not too dry, but the french fries were soggy and undercooked. My wife's grilled chicken sandwich was overcooked and the outer part of the chicken was tough and couldn't be eaten. The little car hop was sweet and friendly. It wasn't a total waste of time but I don't think I'll be ordering french fries there anymore. And of course it's a little safer than going into a restaurant because your social distancing is your windows are rolled up and your car is running with the air...
Read moreI get breakfast here every morning and have for the past 6 months or so. What drove me to finally make a review was a bad experience at another location. I do think your app needs some serious optimization, as it caused me to accidentally order at the covert location and the food was AWEFUL. I ended up ordering another burrito from your burkhart location because I just couldn't eat the other it was so bad. Seeing these 2 next to each other.. wow. I've never had bad food from your burkhart location. It's always a large portion of food. Hot. Fresh. ALWAYS good. And let me tell you your food runner Jeff is amazing. He brings me my food most days, and some days has been so fast I didn't even have time to check in with the app. He's already walking out the door with my food. Always apologizing for the wait even if it's been LITERALLY 30 seconds. There was a day I pulled around to the trash can to clear some room before pulling in to a spot and there he was bringing my food out already. Read moreThis Sonic was a HUGE joke! The drive thru line was backed up to the Rd and stayed that way forever! I pulled in and I bet I waited every bit of 20 mins just to take my order! The lady was rude and told me that they could only take cash if it was EXACT change or debit card, otherwise she couldn't help me. I waited about 5 mins for the screen to prompt me to put in my card and nothing. I hit the button again just to let her know and she answered the button automatically "I'm sorry but right now we're only taking drive thru orders. I told her what the deal was, which she should have known already by watching her screen or at the very least keeping up with a pen and paper. I then waited at least another 30 mins for a simple order of chili cheese tater tots! WOW! I supported my kid's by working at Sonic in the early 80's.
