Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Evansville

This Salsaritas has been going downhill in my opinion over the past year. Where the food taste and quality is still reliable, the expectation that your food will be ready even if you order ahead is basically non-existant. I've put in multiple orders for pick up and when I get there I am still expecting to wait another 8-12 minutes past my intended pick up time. Why have a pick up time if you have no intention of making that time.

On top of that, last time I went I had a pretty terrible experience, where I pulled up, was told to pull around to the window, and then was basically ignored for 15 minutes while I watched everyone walk by me and look at me. When I finally honked my horn to have someone acknowledge my presence, the person that told me to come around acted like I was the one being rude and questioned if I had even been told to pull forward and pretended he had no idea I'd even been there. That to me is childing and unacceptable and makes me never want to eat there again. This place needs to figure out their process because people are going to stop dealing with...

I have been eating here for years. I will never go back after my last experience.

First, the restaurant was filthy and they just opened for the day. All the tables and floors had food particles everywhere. None of the tables were cleaned from the night before. The glass doors had not been wiped down in days. There were dry food particles and caked dirt around the register. Soda machines were disgusting. This place needs cleaned badly.

The burrito was just sloppy. They dumped scoops of water from the chicken and beans right on the burrito. It was sopping wet and just immediately disintegrated. I wanted it remade and the employee threw a fit. After he protested, he then tried to remake the burrito. He was handling raw meat before remaking my burrito and didn’t wash his hands to make the new burrito. He just changed gloves.

At that point I just decided to get a refund and eat somewhere else. I was generally just grossed out at this point.

Also it was $26 for a burrito, chips and a tiny salsa, and fountain drink.

drove all the way over 30 mins after checking google hours, pulled up they were closed , the door said drive thru was open till 11. as we proceeded to the drive thru area, the girl working stated they were closed even though hours posted on the door was 11 pm. she then stated after we asked about the hours on the door that they are covid hours, hmmm well next just wondering how that even makes sense, we drove away starving, lied to and then had to proceed to find a place to eat. now I get your closed early but to blanton lie about it and be condescending as if we are to true believe that covid hours on the door two years later represents this store to be closed.. hmm again, wondering why you would have such employees work and turn away business as we would have spent at least $60/$70 for our dinner… a place that was recommended now out of the books due to the behavior of the...
