Starbucks — Restaurant in Evansville

I've been coming here for years and have had so much opportunity to see the various baristas at work. I've seen them handle unruly, rude customers (and doordashers/Uber Eats) and they have, almost w/o fail done so with grace and tact. Has every barista been perfect every moment of every shift? Of course not, they're human with human feelings, just like everyone else. But they have never failed to do their best with any given situation, even while being yelled at or given a hard time over something they have no control over, like company policy changes or wait times due to having to field, not only in café orders, but drive-thru, online, and doordasher orders. Not to mention when someone comes in with a massive order (14+ drinks, and food) that they don't call ahead about or place ahead of time through the app. I asked one (a drug rep) once why they didn't order ahead and was told "it's easier for me this way." They had 18 drinks, had to go down a list and, when not able to have one made due to being out of season or a missing ingredient, would then ponder over what to do about......while the line grew behind them. Even then, the baristas would handle it with patience and professionalism. I've even been in store when there would be customers displaying erratic behavior that seemed to be due to either substance abuse or mental health issues and, each time, they handled it amazingly, remaining calm and, when necessary, calling in a wellness check. My only complaint is to whomever thought that the Green Apron blend was a good idea. You'll always have my disdain. OH! You need more sugar free options, other than just vanilla. And go back to food donations going to local places, rather than whatever mess you've...

I USED to enjoy coming to this location, I would stop by in the morning in drive-thru & sometimes in the afternoons stop in and get another Frappuccino to kill a little time. This afternoon on Feb 17th 2023, I went in and ordered the usual and paid using the app on my phone it was 3:27, they was busy but not the busiest I have seen them, I waited, I noticed people coming in ordering and waiting then getting what they ordered, while I still waited, at the 30 minute mark, I went up and asked if they lost my order, but it turns out the gentleman working, just left the drink I ordered in the blender and forgot about it while he took care of all the "ladies" maybe I wasn't good looking enough to get my drink before the ladies, I don't know! Should I wear a wig next time and high-heels, will I get my drink before the people who orderd after me? Management needs to do a better job addressing issues here, like any disgruntled customer I asked about it and was pretty much brushed off. If management would like to watch the video I ordered at 3:27 on Feb 17th 2023, received drink a few minutes before 4, but the gals who ordered after me sure got there's. FOOD - 5 STARS I love the fall flavored food and drinks! My Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino was made to perfection.

SERVICE - 4 STARS The store manager gets 5 stars. She walked around greeting the customers with an upbeat personality and a friendly smile, making everyone’s visit a very inviting and welcoming experience. “GREAT LEADERSHIP!” (Even though she looks to be very pregnant) 😁

The baristas get 3 stars. My drink was very good. However, the baristas were not interactive or very friendly with customers. Lucky I wasn’t in a hurry to be anywhere because it took a little longer than I expected to get my drink.

ATMOSPHERE - 4 STARS The stores appearance gets 5 stars for its cleanliness and the organization of products.

The atmosphere also gets a 3 star, due to a few of the server's unprofessionalism. No one wants to sit in the lobby and overhear you complain about how you do not like your job, and bad mouthing your coworkers. Grow up or go get another job if you’re not happy! Food service is not for everyone.
