MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Evansville

I usually enjoy this restaurant experience, but they don't seem to be employing the best staff these days, at least not the woman who rang us up.

I stood up by the register for a bit to pay and no one came around, so I figured I guess they'll call me when they were ready instead. Well, they did bring the pizzas to us, but didn't ring us up. I told her we hadn't paid yet and she said she'd get us rang up shortly. So we stayed with our pizzas, but she starts ringing people up who were behind us in line. It happened once and I figure, ok no big deal she lost track. Then it starts happening again and I finally speak up. She said "well you guys were just sitting there" and one other excuse that I can't remember. I said that we were waiting to pay. I never got an apology, instead she apologized to the people she was cutting in line ahead of us. I didn't want to make a scene or leave without paying, guess it was one or the other in this case.

Feels good to get it typed up and out of my system anyway. Love your pizzas, guys, please make the buying experience a little friendlier...

This is critical comment to highlight extremely poor customer service provided by female employee to the paying customer. I was served today (8pm on 08/30/2021) by a female employee and I was treated as if I was being done a favor for reasons mentioned below. During my visit, I requested that my sauce be uniformly spread on the base to which she responded that "This is all I can do". More than 25% of the base did not have any pizza sauce! Whilst collecting my order, I requested for Honey Sauce on side to which she responded "This will take a lot of time". I believe that a paying customer is entitled to services that the restaurant offers in return for a monetary exchange. I was paying for my food and not requesting charity for myself. This kind of behavior should not be encouraged by the store. I am extremely displeased at the service received today, and I request appropriate corrective action be implemented so this behavior is not repeated for any customer...

Being that I am not a big Pizza eater, I am not all that often interested in pizza. From time-to-time I might be interested but, usually not so much. Dont get me wrong! Pizza is great! But, I like other stuff better. Or, more. Now, a couple of weeks ago, I heard a commercial on the radio, while I was out and about; a promotion for Mondays... Any individual MOD pizza for only $5 and, it included unlimited toppings! And I was on my way to a buddy's place that night so, I stopped in and ordered one for me, my buddy, his wife and his daughter. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place is super nice! So, check it out! Tell them Dann sent you! Not that they will even know who that Is...
