The Bonefish Grill was amazing! We decided to eat there for our brother-in-laws birthday because we'd never been. We arrived a little after 6, and the place was packed, people were waiting for tables. We had to wait about an hour and it was worth it! We started with drinks and appetizers, 3 of us ordered a drink called Coral Reef which was very pretty with a real pineapple garnish and it was very delicious. Our waitress had also brought a complimentary small loaf of fresh wheat bread with a flavorful parmesan olive oil dip; we had 2 of those. Our appetizers were Imperial Dip with house made seasoned tortilla chips which was to die for. It is made with shrimp, bay scallops, lump crab, and Mozzarella & Parmesan cheeses and is one of the most delicious dips I've ever had the pleasure of eating. My husband had the Maryland Style Crab Cakes with Red Remalade Sauce which my husband absolutely loved. My brother orderd the Thai Coconut Shrimp with the Thai Chile Sauce that he couldn't quit raving about. Our entrees were even better! Two of us ordered the Cod Imperial which is cod stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, Mozzarella & Parmesan and a delightful lemon caper butter which tantalized the taste buds! So very good! My husband had the Thermidore Gnocchi with sweet lobster chunks, shrimp sauteed with golden brown potato gnocchi, mushrooms, peas, and fresh tomatoes tossed in lobster sherry cream sauce. My brother-in-law ordered the Crab Crusted Cod which is garlic and crab crumb dusted, topped with lump crab and white wine lemon butter sauce which absolutely loved and he doesn't even like crab, but he does now! Each entree comes with 2 Signature sides and you can add a Premium side for extra $. We all had a Signature & a Premium side. Two of us had Potatoes Au Gratin as our Signature and they were some of the best potatoes I've ever had, the other 2 ordered the Garlic Whipped Potatoes which were also very good! Three of us ordered the Applewood Bacon Mac & Cheese as our Premium which everyone who ordered it really enjoyed, and my brother ordered the Crispy Brussel Sprouts with ham and he loved those. I had 3 fancy drinks and one was served in an adorable blue fish mug and all were garnished beautifully! We loved the ambience there with a lower light setting and flickering candles on the tables, there were also 2 tvs on the wall behind the bar with sports on for the diehard fans. The staff was friendly and we especially loved our waitress, they all wore Bonefish Chef's Jackets which was really professional. The restaurant was also very clean which is always a plus. We will come back time again to eat at this amazing place and if you haven't tried it you really should, its worth every...
Read moreThis was a to go order for curbside. This is the first time we have had Bonefish. We ordered several different things which include Imperial Dip with chips, Beef & Ginger dumplings, 7 ounce Sirloin and Crab cake with garlic potatoes and seasonal vegetables (which was broccoli) , Cod entree with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach along with a cesar salad and bread with olive oil dip. The imperial dip was alright not my favorite but I am not a huge shrimp person. The chips were good that came with it I believe it said they were made in-house. The dumplings were good I'd get them again. They tasted good with all the toppings on top. The steak and crab cake was good. I ordered the steak mid rare and it was perfectly mid rare and very nice you didn't need sauce at all. The crab cake was good as well and didn't taste fishy at all. The potatoes and broccoli were good, the broccoli wasn't overdone at all. The cod unfortunately was dry but still edible. The garlic potatoes were good as well and the spinach was alright. The salad was just that a salad. The bread which was free was good.
We were unable to pay online on their website due it to declining cards. Which I dont know why because it hit my credit card several times and its there currently as a pending charges (It should drop off). Arrived and order wasn't ready and eventually had to call the restaurant to inqure where it was at, after being on hold for a bit order was then located and brought out.
Will probably not order curbside again and try and eat in because it would be better. But no...
Read moreMy party of four arrived at 11:15 a.m. for lunch. It had been a while since we had eaten here due to the price, however, we decided to give it another try. Two of us got bowls of the corn and crab chowder soup. I ordered crab cakes and grilled Brussels sprouts ($4.00 extra)
When the soup arrived, it was luke warm. We both sent it back to be heated. I want my cream soups hot. By the time we got them back our other food had arrived. The soup tasted great. My crab cakes had a good bit of crab, but not much taste. They were loose like a dry tuna salad. Very strange. I wound up putting one crab cake in my chowder to increase the crab content. To be honest, I did not recognize the broiled brussel sprouts. They were almost black on the outside and hard on the inside. This is not something that I fix at home due to the smell, so I was really looking forward to these. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat them. There were so many plates on our table, due to the food arrival, that it was hard to find a place to put things. The four of us ate one loaf of bread and requested another along with more olive oil, but we did not receive either.
The server was very sweet and we enjoyed her, but perhaps lessons about the timing of arriving food is in order. My LUNCH was $30.00, which I don't mind paying when the food is good. This was a very expensive price for a bowl of chowder, one crab cake, a couple of brussel sprouts, and a...
