Absolutely one of my new favorite sandwich places. It is not very often that I feel the food was worth the price in todays food world. However Bao Boss stands up there and I would gladly pay for the sandwiches again and again. The location is in Everett which can be a drive for some but it is well worth it and I am personally planning another trip just to pass through and get some more food. The Cubano was packed full of meat and the bread was just perfect. Everything came out fairly quickly and we had a minimal wait time. My one drawback was the tots. They were fresh but got soggy fast. I believe using something other than the cardboard would make them tremendously better. The restaurant it self is a bit of a small interior but I know it is probably overflowing during the summer with the outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly and answered all the questions about what different kind of flavor profiles each item had. And the door never stopped with online orders coming in every few minutes. I cannot say this enough 10 out of 10. 5 stars. Y'all rock.

I dropped by Bao Boss for a late lunch today since Katana is closed at 2 PM and Bao Boss is right next door. I'm glad I did. Even though they were out of baos, the double smash bacon burger was still delicious on brioche. The bun was soft and all of the ingredients tasted very fresh and well cooked. I only have two minor criticisms. The first is that there wasn't enough bacon. Two thin slices isn't really enough to taste when there are double patties and a bunch of onions. Add another layer of bacon between the patties and raise the price by $1-2 and it'll instantly be an even better burger. The other is that I didn't really get any spicy notes from the pickles. All that said, it was definitely on one of the more delicious burgers I've had in the area and the price was very reasonable. Keep up the great work guys!

Been hearing about this place for about a year to try them out. Not knowing what to expect I was joyed to see they have a large option of smash burgers 🍔 It would be a lie to say you couldn’t find a flavor of your liking hear. They had a special going on today getting a second combo 1/2 off. We went with the Double Bacon burger and The Boss. I ate the boss and likely it just fine. It was packed with an arsenal of flavors from sweet and savory, too zesty. The tots for the side were seasoned with a cajon seasoning. It’s definitely not a place you’re gonna take a date in the dining in is less than pleasant as it’s tight, cold, and limited. But go and grab a bag of their food, it seems like a great place for a lunch break!

Don't sleep on this place. Best burgers I have had in Everett and for that matter, the best burger I can remember having. The beef on all the burgers I have had (three visits within a week) has been well seasoned and flavorful. I think it's groovy meat... Painted Hills maybe.... The burger toppings are inspired and original. As the name suggests, Bao Boss serves a few of their sandos on a bao bun which is a fun and tasty twist on the classic buns of yore. With that said, the potato and brioche buns are great as well.

When it comes to value, the smash burgers, with 1,2 or 3 patties can't be beat. They are much smaller than the main burgers offered but, at only 5 dollars for the single is a welcome relief to the near constant pressure on my wallet. They're less ornately decorated, but the simple onions grilled with the patty and special sauce on a potato bun hits all the right notes. I find that two singles or a double is roughly as filling as one of the fancy burgers but at about 70% of the cost.

Overall, if you like burgers large and small, deluxe or humble, this is a must try. Seriously, treat yourself and support an is awesome local,...

was my first time there. we arrived 15 minutes before closing they were not busy. food was ready quickly. I had ordered two simple smash burgers very basic the sizes are smaller than their other burgers and sandwich's hence the difference in price. They are ok real basic burger. Braised Pork belly banh mi: being Vietnamese i was really excited to try this since most vietnamese banh mi is made of other meat ingredients never braised pork belly. I was quite disappointed. I think the mix sounds interesting but taste rather very salty and oily comparing to typical vietnamese banh mi. it was more salty than double bacon smash. double bacon smash: the steam bao bun was very nice texture comparing to the sandwich bun and there isn't anything i can complain it just tasty! I wouldn't mind stopping by again and perhaps try other burgers. I think it is a nice place to stop by when you are...
