The Fireplace Bar — Restaurant in Everett

I normally don’t leave reviews for places but my experience with a bartender (Monica) Sunday was unacceptable and I feel I need to warn others who are thinking about going here. I was seated at the bar with my friend waiting to buy some pull tabs and the bartender was standing right in front of us and I made eye contact with her and asked if I could get some pull tabs and she replied “we can’t do that right now the till is being switched over” and I replied “okay no worries” and went back to minding my business and talking with my friend, a few minutes go by and she comes up to me and grabs my cash and asked which ones I was trying to get and I respond “7, oh wait sorry I mean 6” and she whips around and in the most nasty tone I’ve ever been spoken to in says “I already told you, we can’t do that right now because the till needs to be switched!” my eyes widened and I just looked at my friend like WOW I cannot believe she just spoke to me like that, and all my friend could say was “wow you must’ve really ticked her off”. I literally just answered the question she asked me, and it’s almost like she came to ask me a question just so she could snap at me, because all I was doing was sitting there minding my business, and talking with my friend, there was no rush in the matter, we were just hanging out and she’s the one who came to me. I get my tabs and we go outside because honestly I couldn’t stand being in the same room as her after she just spoke to me like that. I could understand if I was being a sloppy drunk and annoying her, but I was literally just drinking a redbull and hanging out with my friend who wanted to go get a beer real quick. I finished my tabs and went inside to trade in for more and walked in on her going off on her poor coworker talking to her in the same ridiculous tone at the front of the bar in front of everybody over something so small. This lady’s attitude is not a good look for the business, and I hear this isn’t abnormal behavior for her. I used to frequent this bar and it was my absolute favorite, the bartenders were all so kind and great people to talk with. My best advice is save your money or go...

I’ve been here a few times over the years and it use to be a really great bar tbh but my last few experiences have been very bad and all with the bartender named Kandi I believe …. She acts as if she owns the bar and has given me and my friends attitude multiple times. Brought my coworkers over after work one night and she was working and made my coworker feel extremely uncomfortable by the way she was treating her and bagging on her for lack of alcohol knowledge. Also calmed she didn’t accept legal vertical I.D but other bartenders there did and when I asked why her answer was “ we get busy and I don’t have time to check and make sure they aren’t fakes” which is her just admitting she is to lazy or dumb to do her job …. I’d recommend to steer clear of this place if she is working to avoid the headache or something if the owners smart you’d...

I walked a mile to have a good walk and to relax at 7 at night. I've been to this place many times.

I have no idea why people have said the place is above zero. It is a total zero. 0!!!!!!!

Bathroom had piss all over the floor. Not a little bit but a huge puddle of it all over the place.

The whole time I was there, the bartender was asking me if I was going to order anything else like she had to make a sale. Very rude too.

After piss all over the floor and being treated like a non-local just because I don't go there every day, I will never go there again because the first time I was there with my sister and brother years ago the bartender didn't even put any tequila in the margaritas they were so weak.
