THE WORST MCDONALDS I HAVE EVER BEEN AT.
We were driving back to Canada and stopped by this McDonald’s around 1:30am since we thought it would just be a quicky dropby, from the drive-thru until we leave, it was 2:15am, 45 MINUTES by the time we left this place and I only ordered a cup of coffee. I was behind 8 other cars, as I see from afar, they also seem to have only ordered a few small things, nothing much.
I looked inside their restaurant (since you can’t go inside), we saw the worker who takes drive-thru orders not helping at all, she just left the cashier and went to the restaurant to talk to her friend that was on break. We were thinking she was on break herself as well until one of the managers had called her out to go back and help.
By the time it was our turn, they ran out of brewed coffee and then she said to pull over to the side and she will bring the coffee to me, then the same girl that I mentioned in the previous paragraph mentioned that we actually can’t pull to the side because they would get in trouble for leaving the restaurant to bring food over to customers. And then proceeded to talk about their personal drama stories that’s going on in their lives. Until their conversation finished, they finally poured the brewed coffee, and then they find out that they ran out of cream in their machine.
Both workers looked at each other and just giggled and said they don’t know how to add more cream so they had to go find their manager to figure out what to do until they found their cream packets that they had to open one-by-one.
I tried to think it’s just because some just finished high school or something, but it’s still a job, maybe they weren’t properly trained or because it’s at night and whoever is supervising is too relaxed. But 45 minutes for 8 cars, I might as well go to Denny’s if I could take my time back.
The worst McDonald’s...
Read moreWill get your order completely wrong, tell you they'll only refund you if you come in "tomorrow at 11 am" (I work overnights, it's the only reason I was at this shitty location at 3 am instead of my normal location who actually gets my order right). I've been to this location 3 times in 2 years, the parking lot is always full of trash left lying around. Submit a customer service claim and they will ignore you. Since I won't be getting a refund or getting my food replaced, I'm warning everyone so they can avoid this location and drive to better locations or, if it's after the others have closed, pick a better restaurant like Jack in the Box. This place hates customer service and getting orders correct the first time, and makes inedible food for you so you can't even just enjoy the wrong meal, you literally can't eat it. To "managers" Wendy S and Pablo C, you suck, do better.
Edit: I've literally contacted you twice already through that contact link before coming to publicly post this. Both manager mentioned responded once, then have completely ghosted. Unprofessional, and based on the other reviews, typical for this location. Do not go to this location if you want accuracy. This is especially dangerous for anyone with allergies and sensitivities, they will give you the wrong ingredients. So McDonald's, unless you have something that's actually beneficial to say, don't bother responding, contact this store and start writing up shitty employees and managers. Maybe if their jobs are actually on the line they'll do them correctly.
Edit again: Brittany has decided to add herself to the list of people who email to say "we want to make this right" only to ghost without actually having to own up to their...
Read moreWe always do curbside, and they usually get everything right. Things are usually out in 5 minutes, and it's much quicker than the drive thru, even on busy days it seems like. The only real issue I have are sometimes they forget one or two things you can't really check till you get home, and there isn't any way to get your money back.
One time they weren't able to add a double shot to my frappe, and the forgot to give me a chicken sandwich. I didn't like that they blatantly told me that they weren't able to give me one, but didn't say any way for me to get a refund, they just basically said sorry and gave me my food, even if it's a few cents that I paid for with the intention to receive it. They owed me about 1.50-2.00 in a refund, which I really didn't care to get. But I reached out to customer service because I didn't like that there wasn't really a way to get it back easily. Later that week I received a call from some lady asking about how much I was owed. She was pretty rushed with how she asked me things, and then said that she would be sending a refund of basically 2 dollars in the mail, and that I would receive it in 5-10 days. For 2 dollars which I never received anyways.
Today I paid 1.69 extra for an extra sausage to be added to my breakfast, and I didn't receive that either. And I'm not going through all that customer service bs just to get that much change back.
The app works decently overall, but I'm disappointed in the customer service through the app, and that there isn't a way to get a refund, unless you're crazy and determined enough to literally drive back to...
