Come hungry! I didn't expect much but I was pleasantly surprised. When I came inside I noticed good music playing and was greeted by a well mannered fellow. I chose a katsu/chicken lunch combo that I paid $18 for. It came with a drink so I checked the fountain out. There were the usual suspects and also the stubborn brand agave vanilla cream soda, pineapple cream soda, melon, horchata, and Jamaica. On my way to select a table I noticed free soup! It was a mildly spicy egg flower like soup that I enjoyed quite a bit. I sat down and watched a steady parade of regulars come and go many of whom the gentleman behind the counter seemed to know. He even knew some of their orders. A waitress brought my food which came with rice, salad, chicken, katsu, and the katsu sauce. The rice was sticky, the katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the chicken had a light teriyaki, and the salad was cold with an interesting creamy red dressing. Hot sauce and teriyaki sauce as well as to go containers were readily available. Also, there were gum and toy vending machines. Overall, a 9 of 10. I think I found my new teriyaki stop for...
Read moreThis is hands down THE BEST Teriyaki in town (With some Chinese options) ! I get large orders for work everyone is always happy and come with my wife at least 3X a month. Mike, the owner is great. I always tip as I appreciate the quality product he creates and the hard work he obviously puts in. The hot and sour soup is great it will warm you up while you wait for your to go order. The most important thing to me here is the BEEF. Many Asian foods are similar, not the same, but to me what sets them apart is TENDER beef (And Chicken). Theres nothing I hate more than biting into tough beef at a chinese resteraunt, it's just gross. Mike has it. I would say 8 times out of 10 the beef is on point. If you come here you have to get the Mongolian beef, have them make it normal. If you prefer chicken, the Katsu is always amazing and you dont get a pile of batter with thin dried chicken jerky strips in between, it is tender and crunchy with a savory sauce. Please try this place and DONT confuse it with the other Manna Teriyaki, they are not related. ☆Click Like if...
Read moreThis was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at a food establishment. The night that I got engaged my fiance and I were craving teriyaki. Manna teriyaki was the closest establishment to us and so we called looking to place a delivery order. I called at 8:05pm, they closed at 9pm. We lived literally three blocks away- and they refused to deliver to us, even though they had another hour before closing. Unfortunately for them, we had just had a wonderful day and would have bought a surplus of food and left a nice fat tip. But instead we went with CC Teriyaki down the street and they were incredibley good. I highly suggest never going into Manna teryaki. We had a friend pick some up on the way to our house a couple weeks ago and they got food poisoning. So happy we never ate their food. They deserve to go out...
