I only visited for a moment to purchase some tortillas. It's not in a very good are. There's no indoor waiting area, so a line forms trailing out of the door onto the sidewalk. It's very busy and noisy inside. But to each there own. My main issue was the tortillas. I grew up in a Hispanic household. My abuela would make fresh tortillas every week. There's nothing better than fresh hand made tortillas. Unfortunately that's not what they sell. The tortillas they sell here are machine pressed and cut. They are nearly identical to Guerrero brand tortillas which you can buy at Fred Meyer. All of which are white people tortillas. They taste fake, the texture feels fake. I am very disappointed! My Nana would have hit me with her chancla if she caught me eating these. I can't speak on anything else they serve here. But if you are looking for good handmade tortillas you will not...
Read moreI grew up in Texas where it's easy to find housemade tortillas... after moving to the neighborhood in May of 2020 (after living in downtown Seattle for almost 10years), we found Casa El Dorado and now regularly come by for the tortillas. They are perfection. Corn...flour...burrito sized... taco sized... they are all made to perfection with the same amount of love in every bite. Be prepared to fight over who gets the last tortilla if you bring these gems home! Def a crowd pleaser. The folks working are also incredibly sweet. I can't say enough good things...
Read moreMy family and I just moved into the area and discovered this place while doing laundry. Our only advice...don't do anything FISH related! We ordered a plate of fish tacos to go...and upon opening them, we discovered they use FISH STICKS as their choice of fish (like the ones you buy at the grocery store in the freezer section).
