Fantastic, always fantastic. Favorite place for 5 years now. Thanks for staying open during Coronavirus! The food is fantastic, fresh, cooked-to-order, very nice girls always very pleasant and smiling. They take your order outside while you're waiting in order to speed up your wait time and serve more ppl, which is great. The onion rings are unbelievable, as is the ranch. I will admit that it would be verrrry nice if the tartar was not primarily mayo with very little pickle... I hope that changes. It used to be that way. Not sure what happened there.... The fresh Alaskan Cod falls apart like au jus marinated roast beef, it's so good. They have great bacon, and in the 25 or so times i've been over 5 years, not ONE mistake on my orders. Excellent shakes too, and the prices are consistent and fair. Love the banana shake. My daughter loves the butterscotch. OH and the fries, holy stuff the fries are fat, long-ish, and straight from a potato. Please don't change a thing! Except for making the tartar more substantial.... which it is not at this time. Even the wait times are good. The burgers are fat and automatically come with everything. Just add bacon! Highly highly recommended.
Update 4/1/22
They have the best shakes I've ever had, including those from the Fountain in Arlington - They're not too cold, where you can't drink them for 30 minutes. They taste just like they are named and are chilled to perfection.
If I could add stars I would.
Now..... You changed a thing! Every single thing there is exactly as I already said, except for one thing - The ranch. It is now amongst the most disappointing ranch dressings I've ever had. I can't use it, at all. Seriously, I basically hate it & think it's gross. I wish I knew what kind of ranch they used before! So I could buy some to dip my onion rings in. I don't usually get the onion rings anymore b/c of that. It's a sad story... Hard not to be sad because their onion rings are super fat and fresh and perfect...
Still, best burger joint I've ever been to in 37 years. With a slight possibility of a place in the Bay Area of CA called Nations.
Hey Mikie's, can you consider adding deep fried mushrooms to your menu? They don't take up any room hardly and are really really easy to prepare and cook! And can you please consider going back to the ranch from a year or two ago? Maybe it's just Ken's who changed their recipe....
Thank you everyone for working so hard to make everybody happy, keeping things moving fast by going outside and taking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBurgers and shakes, although the fries can taste fishy because they fry fish for fish and chips and don't use a separate fryer and rarely change the frying oil. Nice place. UPDATE: WOW!!! This place has really gone downhill in quality and service! Live in next town and came here for my family meals every few months, but today was the last time. Drove miles home through rush hour traffic only to discover they had forgotten a chicken sandwich for my daughter. Drove back to get a fresh one made letting my burger back home get cold. They tried to hand me the old sandwich that had been sitting out for almost an hour until I asked if they could make me a fresh one. I asked for something like a free onion rings for my trouble, time and gas because it was their fault. Counter person said will talk to manager and came back saying won't give out free food without me paying for it and refused to refund my burger cost for a cold burger I had to leave at home. I watched the cooks cooking the missing sandwich and saw one cook drop something on the filthy floor and he just shrugged and picked up the dropped item; I couldn't see what it was but it was either a cooking utensil or a food bin by them and he didn't throw anything away or put anything in the cleaning sink. Eww! Got my overpriced grilled chicken sandwich (almost 8 bucks!) and told them they've lost mine, my family's and friends business, to which the snotty counter person replied she didn't remember me anyway so I wouldn't be missed. That's good customer service? My wife called from home and asked for the manager, and she was told no manager or assistant manager was there today. So they lied to me saying will talk to manager. What food place doesn't have even an assistant manager on premises?!? Spending 50 dollars for 3 burgers the size of a junior burger at other restaurants, a chicken sandwich and 3 orders of onion rings is way too much money to spend and not be appreciated as a paying customer. Most of the onion rings batter had fallen off to become an oily mess at the bottom of a small bag only half filled with product leaving mostly bare onion swimming in oil. And they tasted fishy also! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE as there are much better burger places in Everett that aren't rude to customers or way overpriced for low...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's been atleast a year since last eating from here, as we moved a bit out of the area. I had "a day" and my kids & I were excited for Mikey's. We've been talking about going back for some time and happened to be out that way.
We called in and picked up our order (which was all correct! : )
My boys went in (rather than me, after biffing it on some stairs earlier in the day) waited inside for the order, which sounded like it'd be ready when we arrived (in 15mins). While waiting, they noticed there were some workers that stood around at times. And our order definitely took an additional 10mins. Maybe the inactive workers were just trainees𤷠So we'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
We ordered 1 root beer and 1 chocolate shake. Both great, (although the chocolate could have been stirred more); and one soft drink; Two triple grandpa burgers; one double w/bacon & one fish sandwich (plus some orders of fries which were alright but not the freshest). The burgers were swimming in sauce, all my guys commented on this. No biggie, except the bread gets soggy real quick and we ordered to go.(which they knew). My fish sandwich, while almost as good as usual, gave me a surprise! I noticed it looked like they skimped on fish (which was something I've never experienced there before) and I opened the sandwich up only to discover the middle fishless, lol (please see my picture, there was room for one more piece or just swap out these little guys with a nice big chunk, like they used to give me).
I'm not giving up on them yet though and hope their employees will be able to enjoy making the quality of food they used to. But also, keeping in mind it could have just been an "off day"...
