I was part of a group of three who went axe throwing on a Saturday right as Revolution Axe Throwing opened. Their online reservation system is easy and efficient to sign up and sign the electronic waiver. Arriving at their facility there is plenty of parking, even with other businesses in the same area. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the process. There is a bar with an extensive selection of beer, cider, and non-alcoholic options. Our instructor was Sam, whose energy was infectious and all of her observations and tips were invaluable. Our hour was well spent learning the techniques for two handed and one handed throwing, and then the competition was a blast! After we completed the contest, Sam even taught us how to throw the axe underhanded. The winner gets to sign the bar, and although none of us landed a Clutch throw, if one of us had, you get the privilege of signing your axe. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will definitely be back again. We all highly recommend this activity for anyone looking to learn the art of...
Read moreSo much fun! We decided to try Axe Throwing on a whim, went to straight to google and found Revolution. This place is a bit of hidden gem in the industrial park behind Night Shift Brewing but it is so worth it. We had an excellent trainer that was super enthusiastic and concerned about our safety and fun the entire time. Instead of just axe throwing for target practice the team takes the sport a step further and creates games and competition for your enjoyment. We didn't try any food (snacks) but we did try some of their great beer and wine choices.
Some might be hesitant about the alcohol+axes combination. The team very closely monitors alcohol consumption to ensure everyones safety which is highly appreciated. Fun was had by all and afterwards we cooled down with a delicious Cabernet. 5/5. Will...
Read moreSuper disappointed with this place. Me and my husband came here for a fun day date and we were paired with another couple that didn’t show up. We waited 10 minutes for them to show up and they didn’t so we started with out them. We were frustrated that we had to wait 10 minutes and waste our time but we thought she might allow us to make it up at the end… anyway the other couple ended up showing up 25 minutes late. Our coach paused the game we were in the middle of to teach them how to play. Again we were sitting around waiting. At the end of the quick game we all played the coach suggested the winner played a game against her so our time was wasted again. She also ended our game five minutes early. We were so annoyed that we paid for an hour of time and only played for...
