A Must-Try Breakfast Gem in Evergreen: The Cow Eatery II! Wow! What an incredible find right here in Evergreen. My visit to The Cow Eatery II was easily the highlight of my morning, and I can't recommend this place enough for anyone craving genuinely fantastic, comforting breakfast food served with unparalleled hospitality. This isn't just a place to eat; it's a cozy, welcoming experience. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made us feel completely at home. It’s rare to find a spot where everyone couldn't have been nicer—the service was attentive, genuine, and truly enhanced the meal. You feel like a welcomed regular even on your first visit. Now, let's talk about the food. We settled on two breakfast classics: the Breakfast Burrito and the Huevos Rancheros, and both were absolutely great. The burrito was perfectly packed with savory fillings, grilled just right, and substantial enough to fuel a full day of Colorado adventure. The Huevos Rancheros were vibrant, fresh, and layered with flavor. However, the undeniable star of the show was the green chili. I have tried countless versions across the state, and I can confidently say that the green chili here is truly unique and original. It has a depth of flavor and a slow, satisfying heat that is completely its own. It’s savory, complex, and clearly made with passion. If you are a green chili enthusiast, this is the version you have to seek out—it transforms an already great dish into an exceptional one. If you are in Evergreen, do yourself a favor and stop by The Cow Eatery II. Come for the amazing classics, stay for the warmth of the staff, and leave planning your return trip just for that one-of-a-kind green chili. Five stars all around!

SO happy this one is finally open. It's been our families go to spot in Morrison for a while now, and we've been anticipating this one and finally got to enjoy it! A beautiful build out with garage doors, and a nice bar area with a patio. The food was just a good, comforting, and my daughter always wants to go for the cinnamon rolls which as always didn't disappoint. Excited to see how it progresses!

The Cow in Morrison has been a family go to for years. With the opening of the Evergreen location we were excited. Been twice and had issues twice! See Grateful Kait's review. My daughter is a vegetarian and our first visit she had a fried chicken wing bone at the bottom of her French fries. Totally grossed her out. No apologies or recognition by staff that there was an issue.

Went again tonight. Recalled the prior issue with the server just for conversation. Server came out with a veggie burger covered with long strips of bacon. We let the server know, server took the plate away and in less than a minute brought the same plate back without the bacon.

We'll be driving down to Morrison from now on. Assuming I can convince her to go.

I expect better!

Thanks for the reply. We were in 5:45 - 6:00 today. Seated ourselves. I believe that the manager, at least a second employee, was aware since she helped bring our food out and heard the bacon conversation but I don't recall if she was there when the plate was returned...

This is the second time I have been served meat on my vegetarian plate. First was a chicken wing bone in my French fries- they charged me full price. Then tonight- after we told our server about my last experience- I was served bacon on my veggie burger. He then came back 30 seconds later and brought me the same exact veggie burger back with the bacon picked off of it. I told him I did not want it or anything else. The manager never came by to check on us. Nor did the server. We sat with empty glasses. I am done with this place. Unbelievably poor...
