Montesini Pizzeria & Pasta — Restaurant in Evesham Township

I'm not one to complain but tonight have officially decided I will never give this restaurant my money, again. Time and time again, Montessini has forgotten things on our orders and we didn't complain for the lack of understanding. Tonight, our cheese fries came with the top of the container melted completely into the cheese because they put the cheese into the piping hot fries before they packed it in the bag to go. Naturally, we threw the container away. The driver told us the manager wanted the fries and the cheese with the melted top back, as if we were making up the complaint and haven't spent hundreds of dollars at Montessini. We called the manager and he said we can pay for the new fries he just gave us(mind you they gave us a smaller version of the fries even though they messed up the first one that we paid full price for) or we can pay for them. Montessini, you should be ashamed of yourselves for your lack of customer service to customers that have given you MUCH faithful business. ...

I just don't understand how this place has 3.8 stars. This is becoming one of my local favorites very quickly. Quality of food is fantastic. Service is great. Delivery is prompt. I really appreciate that their Caesar salad dressing is actually homemade. So many places advertise homemade dressings when they clearly are not. Regular neopolitan pizza is one of the best locally.

As far as service goes, and maybe this could be a note to some other reviewers of this restaurant, just call them and speak with them if you have an issue. People make mistakes and things happen, my bar for service is how a business reacts and follows through with making it right. Montesini messed up a takeout order of ours, and when we asked them about it, they were very apologetic and very nice. They corrected the problem as quick as they could, and even offered us 10% off of our order. That right there is 5 star service.

They also get an added bonus for donating to our local elementary school. Please support...

We want to love this place, we do. However we continue to have issues with our orders over and over again. Most recently was tonight. I showed up a few minutes before the estimated time. Gave the woman at the front counter my name and who we ordered through so she had all the information. She walked away to check on the order, came back and said it would be a few more minutes. Place was crazy packed so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 30 minutes before going back up to check in on my order. The same woman walked away to check, came back and said my order never went into the system...an hour and 40 plus minutes after we ordered. So I guess she just flat out lied to me when I showed up and never even looked for my order? Then she told me it was an issue with GrubHub which after so many issues we have had, I just don't believe it. Total failure on their end. At this point, too many strikes and we won't be back. Order at your own risk...if you do get the food it is...
