IF YOU’RE BUYING ALCOHOL LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE & BEWARE:
I’m 43 years old & my husband is 49. We both walked into this store and we each picked out an alcoholic beverage and carried them to the register. Because we each carried the containers to the counter we were both asked for ID. I had received a new purse & wallet for Christmas and hadn’t transferred everything to my new ones which I grabbed on the way out of the house. Since I wasn’t driving, I didn’t think it was a huge issue to NOT carry my license. I am at fault here! When I was unable to produce my ID, my husband was allowed to pay for his 1 drink but wouldn’t be served if he attempted to purchase any additional alcohol. Technically, Wawa saved us some money since we crossed the street to GIANT & bought the EXACT same item for half of the price a Wawa was asking. Imagine that after you are in line waiting for Karen to finish BSing with the customer In front of you that when it comes to your turn to pay with cash that you should “Count fast bud, my line is backing up.” It took me seconds to pull out a 10 dollar bill to pay and so because Karen wanted to discuss the weather with the customer in front of me, I should be treated like I am holding up your line. This person should be re-trained in proper customer service. Never again Wawa in...

But when things go wrong, they handle it professionally and humanly. They will always let you talk to them to make a change to an order that didn’t work out, and they are flexible to make things right in the best way possible.
Traffic flow is almost always bad coming in and out, which isn’t this Wawa’s fault necessarily, but it can be deterring trying to get in when there is no parking or people are honking trying to just navigate out of the...
