It is important to understand the type of market that Aldi is. This is a discount grocer, providing a limited number of options for deeply reduced pricing. In that segment of the grocery market Aldi absolutely dominates.
The products are excellent. The choices are broad enough for virtually all of my weekly grocery needs. The produce is fresh and colorful. The meats are of high quality . Choices include organics and free range. As a low cost option Aldi is better than Walmart and by far and away better than Amelia's and Redners.
