Dos Banditos — Restaurant in Fair Haven

I'm in for the weekend after a rough week at work. I order from here because the food is amazing. Seamless tells me the food is ready, and when I arrive it's not where I've previously been told it's supposed to be and honestly the signage isn't clear (The food is "behind [me]", except what's behind me is either the door, a half-wall, or an empty shelf). Nobody's at the counter so I ask someone sitting down if he knows the place well or works there. Two counter workers then bolt forward and I ask where my food is, because it appears it's not where it's supposed to be. As the guy's handing me my food he makes a huge eye-roll at me. Was I a little too frenetic because I'm still carrying a rough week with me? Sure. Did my confusion merit the blatant passive-aggression? No. Guess I'll be ordering somewhere else next time I'm in town for...

I’m writing this because I really like this place and I want to give some feedback. Staff was super attentive and nice, the food was delicious, creative and definitely not from a jar. Chicken tacos, short rib tostada, rice/beans, chicken torta were all fabulous. Thank you and I’m looking forward to eating it again! Totally worth going to.

Now the small feedback. Chips and salsa are really fresh and delicious but pricey for what they are. Second is the plain cheese quesadilla. It was very light on flavor and could have been cooked more. It was also 3 full quesadillas! That’s a huge portion. Personally, I’d drop it to 2, add some additional cheeses and drop the price. I’m sure that with chicken it’s amazing.

I’m only saying this because I would want to know if it was my place. I want this place to thrive.

Authentic Mexican food, you want an new spot, here it is, home feel inside with some outdoor seating as well, nicely decorated throughout, the gentleman there was very nice. good seasoning on everything ,we had tacos, burrito , nachos, elote, quacamole, pork torta (without bread) Nothing was soggy, tacos had good taste, nachos had lots of toppings with cream and cheese and meats. Elote done right,nothing overdone and nice little lime zest taste to it was really good, I liked it because it wasn't over done with sauce all over like some other places. The quac is very good and smooth, this is in our top 4 for best Mexican food, and we have been to quite a few Mexican restaurants here in...
