Biby's Empanadas & Pizza — Restaurant in Fair Lawn

What a WONDERFUL treat!!! When I was a little girl growing up in New York, there was an Argentine Pizzeria that had THE-BEST pizza and empanadas. Unfortunately, the owners retired and moved away. I have searched and search for that perfect crunch of the Argentine pizza and taste….and I FOUND IT at Biby’s!

Biby’s offers different types of pizza but if you want to experience AMAZING-NESS, their Argentine Pizza Deluxe is the way to go. Minus the eggs, that is EXACTLY the way I had it growing up. We ate with the sliced hard boiled eggs on top and it was sooooo….GOOD!

As soon I saw the round pan and the gentleman building the pizza, my heart was so GLAD…. I said to my myself, “Yes, that’s how I remember the pizza being prepared” The Argentine pizza is a little thicker but so tasty!

All of this and I didn’t tell you about the empanadas…. ALSO DEE-LISH, and the Chimichurri sauce is incredible! And a variety of empanadas.

The service was incredible, they were really kind and gracious.

Wow, this place is an absolute hidden gem. Apparently they’ve been around for 3 years and I just discovered them today. The empanadas are the absolute best I’ve ever had and I’ve been to some pretty amazing off the map spots in Jersey City and elsewhere. If you haven’t tried it yet, please do. This place just jumped to the top of our take out options.

I need to add to this review. We catered our Easter dinner with Biby’s because we were coming back from vacation and wouldn’t have time to cook ourselves. We had the pork loin, eggplant rollatini, chicken, empanadas and two different salads. The pork loin was incredible, and everything else was delicious as well. We will now also have them cater our kids birthday parties here as well. I wish I could give more stars. I don’t have any photos because my family started devouring everything as soon as the food arrived.

Update, had Biby’s cater our kids birthday party and everything was great!!! I highly recommend them...

Hidden gem!!! My daughter works here so I go in often now. I am making my way through the menu. Everything I’ve had so far has been excellent. I discovered this place after getting my nails done next-door and seeing the empanada sign. The empanadas are excellent, and they have such great variety. You can get everything from a regular beef empanada to a chicken, bacon, ranch or penne vodka empanada. My daughter‘s favorite is the pepperoni empanada and my mom‘s favorite is the spinach empanada. Oh, and don’t forget to order the chimichurri sauce. Amazing!! But you can’t go here and not try their vodka sauce. It is the best I’ve ever had. Also lots of different varieties of pizzas and other menu items. Today I ordered a Stromboli to bring to a friend’s house. Can’t wait to try it. The owner, Omar, told me that he doesn’t make it the regular way. He learned how to make it from a bakery he used to work at. It looks delicious. Please try this place out and tell Bobbi I...
