I’m not of Indian descent, but it is one of my all time favorite cuisines and I’ve tried many places over the years—across NJ and NYC. Without question, House of Naan is the very best I’ve ever had! Every item is cooked fresh to order—no premade curries or naan. The papri chaat is off the hook delicious—crunchy wafers, cooling chutneys, a little spice, a little sweet, and all around flavor bomb. The lamb saag is generous in size and rich in flavor. There is plenty of lamb and it is still piping hot 20min after picking it up. The naan is soft and comforting, and a must for any dish with sauces. The mango lassi is cool and refreshing, perfect for taming down the heat of the saag and papri chaat. My only complaint is I wish they were in a large enough space to sit and enjoy my meal! But everything is packaged well for pickup and keeps the food hot long after you get back home. Love House of Naan and highly recommend you try it!

I am really sorry to put this nasty review because I was literally hoping that the food was good because I like local new biz to succeed. The Ch Kathi roll had 2 small kebab pieces with a bit of lettuce & carrot with some basic creamy sauce . Totally tasteless and 0 value for the high price of $9. Should be priced at $5 with chicken costing $2/lb in markets .calked the owner to complain and let him know my honest opinion. Totally disappointed and waste of money . P.S I get a call from the owners 10 mins later with a girl very sweetly asking for an explanation which I face her but she didn’t agree with and that’s cool , it’s her place and her choice but then a guy comes on and threatens me . Wow, there not cool . Healthy criticism in a biz should be accepted graciously. Sad . Very sad

When I first saw the sign of a new Indian restaurant opening, I was excited to try some dishes out. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan were delicious! I just wish the portions were a little bigger unless there was some confusion in getting the sizes from the Lunch hour. The packaging is great - nice and organized. Look forward to trying more dishes and hoping soon it'll be available for online orders through Uber Eats.

We recently ordered Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Korma with Chickpeas, Aloo Naan, & Garlic Cheese Nan.

Overall we really enjoyed the dishes. They were perfectly spiced for our tastes, not too much heat but enough to let you know you're eating well made food. The saag was creamy and no stems, which we have had at other places. The tikka masala had good balance and not over oily, korma was packed with veggies and the aloo naan had a good amount of potato's. Plus the rice was amazing.

The negatives were that the saag and tikka both lacked enough proteins. Very small amount of chicken and paneer when compared with other Indian take-out in the area we've enjoyed. While I loved the amount of garlic in the garlic cheese naan, I was expecting that it would be paneer and not what appeared to be melted chedder or some other yellow cheese. Didn't really add anything.

We'll certainly eat there again to see if they do better with their balance of proteins in their dishes and update the review if things get better. It's certainly...

We've ordered from House of Naan 4 times since they opened, each time trying new items on the menu. Everything has been delicious. We love that the owner is a homegrown Fair Lawner. The saag Paneer and Tikki Masala is flavorful, the meat is white meat and not fatty at all. Their Rice Pudding desert is excellent. The Chicken Korma is outstanding. My wife and I love Indian food and get it all the time from all around Bergen County, and House of Naan is absolutely in the top 3. Their prices and portions put them close to #1. Friendly service is also a plus. Lastly, to their name, the Naan is phenomenal. Dipping it in their many delicious sauces is simply amazing. I'd love for them to add a Butter Chicken to the Menu, but the Tikki Masala is an excellent alternative. Highly...
