I had driven by before so when my friend wanted to meet there I was sceptical, but upon my entrance I was greeted with a pleasant bar full of character. Instead of creepy drunkards I was greeted by an assortment of people who just got out of work, hipsters, couples, and people reliving their glory days. They have billiards and darts and a small, cheap, satisfying food menu of things that are heated in a microwave under the bar. They have a modern jukebox and but a classic dive-bar feel. The beers selection was impressive. Again I expected the usual selection of Americana, but was surprised to find quality craft beers and microbreweries.

Read moreCame here for someone's birthday. Before our large party came, there were some trashy older locals hanging out. Didn't even know Fair Lawn had that. Then again, it's right next to Paterson. There was also some creeper talking to himself and he went outside and started picking up cigarette but ts to smoke. In the pictures, the bar looks nice dive bar, but in real life it's a really bad dive with very trashy people. Their dart board isn't even up and we were looking forward to playing. If you like walking into a new establishment and have to wait for the employees to finish a phone conversation or texts with glances that say "can't you see I'm on the phone, don't interrupt, overpaying for beer in a dead tavern atmosphere, walking to the washroom to come back to no drink and/or change.
