Two stars because we have been coming to this restaurant for twenty years and have truly loved the food. I have never been treated as poorly as I have tonight by any restaurant staff, let alone a supposed manager. I can't imagine that the owner would ever want any of his customers treated this way. I just called to put an order in for pick up. My cell dropped the call three times, but we love Tickets and have been coming there for 20 years so we got to a spot that our cell worked and got through. The lady who answered the phone and said-"Hello, you just called us four times and hung up" in the rudest way,...that's how she answered. I said, yes, we're trying to put an order in for pick up but my calls got dropped...she said, "four times?!" I then asked to talk to the manager because the first two minutes didn't go well and I wanted to make sure our order would be taken correctly. Melissa picked up introducing herself as a manager. I told her I wanted to put an order in and accidentally said delivery instead of pick up. I told her I meant to say pick up, not delivery and she continued to speak in a condescending voice saying "Tickets doesn't do delivery and if we wanted to pick up, we need to pay over the phone", which we know because we've done this many, many times. Her patronizing voice continued to condescend about the order. I then asked if the owner was there because her customer service was getting worse. She said, "wait, you want to talk to the owner because you called us and hung up four times (it was three), and are upset because we don't deliver? Yes, I'll take your information down, and let the owner know that this is why you're upset, no worries." My husband hears this on speakerphone and tells me that there is no way that we'll be treated this way by a restaurant that we've been coming to for 20 years to hang up and we'll choose a different restaurant and speak to the owner in person. All that poor customer service over poor cell phone coverage and under-trained staff. I am truly sad that Tickets has these two employees and hope other customers do not experience...
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere note quite knowing what to expect. There are plenty of tables and ample room at the bar. Several television line the walls allowing for a clear view. However, the bad experience started as soon as the waitress came to our table. She must have had more important things to do because we were clearly bothering her. No friendly hellos were given when we arrived but there were several blunt questions when it came to asking for our order. I ordered the pork tenderloin and my son ordered the wings. The pork tenderloin was a 2 3 at best. I’ve had better at the local fair which isn’t saying much. My son’s wings were inedible. I’m not sure they were cooked all the way and the skin was definitely mooshy. He described some kind of gritty gross texture that was associated with the sauce, the skin or the meat. He took one small bite and spit it out. I normally would try the wings just to make sure he wasn’t being too picky but just the sight of them made me nauseous in this case. The waitress was clearly displeased when we asked to send them back and told her we didn’t want a replacement. I want to make a point here of saying how polite my son and I were about the whole thing. We are not the type to cause a fuss and we are always polite….making a point to say thank you and please at all times…..even if we are not happy with our food or service. Much to my surprise, a charge for the wings remained on the bill once received. We kindly paid the bill and went on our way. The annoyance was revived this morning when checking my bank statement and seeing the charge for a meal I was not happy with. Hence the review you are reading. My family’s only recourse is to write what in my opinion is a very accurate description of our unsatisfactory visit hoping we can save others the trouble. We will not be going back and I suggest you stay...
Read moreStill passed up Tickets for elsewhere. A few hundred dollars did not go to Tickets due to my recommendations to go elsewhere.
Oct 28 '18 Still haven't set foot in there. Have met the owner in the market and passing while driving -- nice lady -- completely opposite of the bad service barkeep.
I pass the place almost daily ... and keep on going. Once bad, careless service, always careless service.
March 12th: Went to Foy's again instead. Feb 28th: Went to Foy's Bar & Grill instead. Worth it. Feb 24th: It's half a block away: Drove to Mcd's. Another sale avoided due to her. Feb 18th: Steered three sales away from them because of the bartender. When she goes, will come back.
The barkeep did it again. Messed with my order. She didn't inspect to see that I got all that I paid for. She didn't notice the pickle offered was gone.
Bad service still.
Good thing I do not let bullies gain power over me by feeling humiliated.
I go in for the good atmosphere the rest of the place stands for.
October 2017: Still am passing up Tickets. I need to go in to see if the bartender with a chip on her shoulder is still working. But it doesn't really matter. I have cost this business a lot of profit(s) steering people away. MAY 2019 Still not recommending. Haven't been back since this review began
2022: Still...
