By far a hidden treasure. If you're heading to Foys or any shops on Main St, you'd be missing out substantially if you missed this little "gem". Run by a highly knowledgeable, friendly, and all around helpful staff. The atmosphere immediately takes the edge off. Walking in the door you're surrounded by beautiful gem stones, calming aromas, and breath-taking art work. You'd be forgiven for thinking all this was out of your price range, but you'd be mistaken. You can walk out of the store with something beautiful like in some of my pictures for a fraction of the price you'd pay for the same thing just miles away in Yellow Springs, or many online retailers. If you are looking for some beautiful jewelry, custom or otherwise, this is the place. If you are looking for some beautiful stones to accent your home decoration, or for spiritual purposes, you won't find any place around that can match this little shop in downtown Fairborn. Coynes Crystals is and was a very wonderful and enlightening experience for me! One of the shop owners Francis was so very generous with her spirit and information she truly is a gem herself! I went in for one specific thing in mind and left with several, it’s jus so compelling and affordable & The crystals are beautiful and true! I found sum that I’ve never even heard of. So you can count on a vast variety. They make their own jewelry as well. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to stop in to purchase more because I had to leave town. I was visiting family in Dayton and discovered this place near the end of my stay and didn’t have the time. I am absolutely going to be traveling back just to support her and her business! Absolutely LOVED our experience here. My son is beyond enthused with Geodes and crystals and stones of all sorts. The woman working festival weekend couldn’t have been cooler. Once she learned of his love for geodes, she took the time to find him a perfect one and made his entire day. I also love that they don’t allow constant touching of their crystals and other healing materials, this tells me they know what they’re doing and that constant handling of these things causes them to absorb each energy they encounter. the entire vibe in there is amazing and we’ll totally be back.
