My family and I have patronized Oz Pizza, especially the one in Fairburn, because it's in our neighborhood. We are a firm believer, we should promote our Local Businesses! So, it is difficult to write this review, on one of our Favorite Places to Dine, Gather with Friends, and Support. The 1 Star is given because of the whole experience. But, my "Not So Good" experience, today, was not the first. In fact, this skimping and omitting ingredients happened a few times before, but we either sucked it up because we were hungry; or, we called back to report the missing ingredients, to get an explanation as to why we weren't informed about our order yet still was charged the same amount, i.e.: Artichokes, or Green Olives. We received a nonchalant response to our complaints! Today, we ordered "The Mack" pizza (Advertisement Quote: Our Best Seller! Pepperoni, Spicy Italian Sausage, Ground Beef, Mushrooms, Onions, Green Peppers, Black Olives and Extra Mozzarella), gearing-up for a Good Hardy Meaty Pizza Pie, on a Friday night, after a long day at work! To our disappointment, again, The Cook came up short on the Pizza Ingredients. Before the Pizza was received, it was paid for (Cost Med. $23.52) However, when the lid was opened, my wife inquired about the meat. She was told by the Cashier and a Server, who was called over that the meat was under the Cheese. Her vision was being tested and intelligence. She picked up the fork to pull back the Cheese, to verify their claim. There was very little or hardly any Meat and the Pepperoni was Not Visible (See for yourself). The Manager, Festus, was called over and he tried to tell her that the meat was under the Cheese, even after looking at the reveal. After having him to look closer, he conceded and offered to add a little more meat. The decision was made by now, to get back our money. Such a let down on the Customer Service, interaction and the Pizza Pie! We know that a Great Pizza Pie can come out of Oz Pizza in Fairburn, however, as of late there is an inconsistency with the orders. When you are paying a good amount for a particular type of Pizza, the ingredients should be there, visible, and the order should be correct. That is all we are asking of The Cook and the Food Preparer. A few weeks ago, we spent close to $50 on Pizza Pies, from here. Therefore, we are willing to support; but, not when we are Not getting, what is...
Read moreI’m disappointed to make this review since I have been a regular customer since 2016. Today I ordered food for my family and the calzone was baked way too long and was as hard as a cracker. When I cut into it, the crust broke. It was not chewy or soft, but hard like a cracker. So I asked the manager to have it remade. I can deal with a mistake being made in the kitchen, but the managers attitude and for management to allow this treatment to customers, I will never come back. The look on her face shocked me. I asked politely for it to be made, I couldn’t understand why she was the one that was so upset when we had been waiting for our food 30 min by now. So as we waited, the Mexican cook in the back kept staring at our table. He did this for fifteen minutes. So here we are 45 min, still no food and this guy is staring at us. The manager was unapologetic. It was extremely awkward. All the times I have come here, I’ve never experienced this. This was a new manager that I hadn’t seen before. So she comes back to our table, her attitude was horrible. She had no idea how to communicate with a customer. She never once said sorry about us waiting over an hour now- just for a calzone! And get this, the restaurant was not busy whatsoever. All the hard work out behind making this establishment was sabotaged by this manager. She literally does not care about her job or the customers. She has no customer service skills and she was a bit slow when I explained to her that me waiting an hour for food is an inconvenience. I asked the GM for her name. He wouldn’t give it to me. I used to love this place. Plus the older Mexican cook in the back with the beard and goatee stared at me the entire time and made me very...
Read moreNot a fan. The last time I went here was before it burnt down and my family would frequent it often sense it was the closest place to us making fresh pizza. This is my first time here sense they rebuilt/remodeled the inside. It wasn’t nasty it just wasn’t good either. It was like they took a slice of cheese pizza and just threw it in the top. The crust seemed premade like those ones you can get from the bakery refrigerators but the toppings were fresh. I had chicken, broccoli and garlic and the garlic was the saving grace, but the pizza didn’t hit like I thought it would. I ate a big piece of the slice , but it’s not worth eating the rest to me. I’d go back and try one if there premade flavors before completely righting it off, but I wouldn’t go back for the build your owns. Maybe if they layered the toppings better it would be good, but it literally was just like they took a cheese pizza and threw everything in top. The size of a slice is pretty large though, so I don’t think you’d really need more than one, maybe one and a half if your really hungry. But sense I didn’t eat the whole slice I’m really assuming by the size. My mom and aunt ordered slices also with mushroom, beef and onions. They messed up the first time and brought out what looked like a cheese pizza with a ton of onions. The young man that brought it out took it back for them and got the right thing made and it looked way better. I didn’t get a picture because I was over it at that point. Despite all of this, the staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. They are the only reason o would consider going back to try it one more time. Customer service can make you or break you and...
