TrucKINGS bbq — Restaurant in Fairburn

My family and I were visiting from DC and was looking for somewhere good. I found Truckings on Google and I'm glad I did. First impression: Truckings had a big bbq setup in the parking lot with their grills. They're establishment is strictly takeout and not much room inside as the line and store surely filled up fast. I wasn't really sure what to order, and kind of ear hustled to what others was ordering before me. Prior to ordering there were a few items that were sold out (smoked wings, ribs were almost gone, and we got the last of the smoked chicken). We ordered fried wings, smoked chicken, baked beans, macaroni & cheese, seafood salad, and collard greens. Customer service: We were greeted by the cashier with a warm welcome and she continued to take the time to do it with everyone who entered. Once we approached, the cashier informed us of the items they had sold out of. As I stated, we got the last of the smoke chicken, which they were unable to fulfill one of our orders. A female cook came out and spoke with me to explain the situation. Firstly, she apologized for the inconvenience, then asked if there was anything else I would like. I stated fried wings, but instead she suggested I try their fried turkey ribs, and I did. She also compensated us for the inconvenience and thanked us for our patience. Again, great customer service! Food: Smoked chicken was very well seasoned, the smoky wood taste made the chicken delicious, I am glad she suggested the turkey ribs as I love turkey. There were different but delicious. Fried wings were okay, baked beans were good if you like a little sweetness, collard greens good, seafood salad good and Mac and cheese okay. This was my first time visiting Trucking BBQ, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. If I could give over five stars it would be10 stars. From the moment I walked in, Aisha at the front counter manger set the tone with her warm welcome and radiant smile. She exemplifies what outstanding customer service should look like—efficiently handling orders, offering thoughtful suggestions on specials, managing calls, and still ensuring every guest felt valued and taken care of.

It is rare to find someone who balances professionalism with genuine hospitality so seamlessly. To the owners, you are truly fortunate to have Aisha as the first point of contact for your business it’s rare and hard to find. The front end is where impressions are made, and she has mastered the art of creating a positive experience that not only encourages repeat customers but also strengthens your reputation in the community to be recognize by first name when you enter. As for the food—it was absolutely delicious. Flavorful, fresh, and served with care. I can honestly say I’ll be returning and enthusiastically recommending Trucking BBQ to others. Having a gem like this open Wednesday through Saturday is a gift to the Fairburn area, and I’m grateful we have access to such quality food paired with exemplary service.

Came in Mother's day weekend to treat my mom and grandma to some delicious bbq! My mom just had to try it after my last visit here. The food did not disappoint!! We placed out order and stepped outside, because it can get a little crowded inside We got home and chowed down! My mom got the smoke oxtails w Mac cheese and baked beans, we got grandma the brisket, niece got the rib sandwich, and I got the small rib tips. They give you plenty of food! My rib tips were delicious and tender. My niece said those were the best ribs she has had in a while. And Grandma enjoyed her brisket as well, she's missing some teeth and it was tender enough for her to chew. Mom enjoyed the oxtails as well!!
