I've been going to Amelie wine bar in SF for years and even checked out their West Village location in NYC once! Regardless of location, the service at Amelie is always excellent and the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. I was thrilled to hear that Germain opened this place in Fairfax. The vibe is super chill and the outdoor seating is relaxing. The food is super delicious, which doesn't surprise me because the chef at his former restaurant Michel is now here. I've loved everything I've ordered from the menu so far, especially the Amelie Burger and the Salt Springs Mussels. The burger is super juicy and the roasted potatoes with aioli is a perfect pairing. The mussels are so plump, well-seasoned, and full of flavor! And of course, the wine selection is always excellent. Keep up the great work, Amelie. I look forward to my next...

Service - Very friendly, they invited us in. We ordered takeout, but ended up using one of their tables outside to dine.

Coffee - Tasty, though they ran out and could not fill the cup even 3/4 full; that’s with creamer already. I was charged in full without any recompense offered.

Quiche - Homemade and full of toppings. It came with a small amount of salad and a vinaigrette.

Price - Around $12.50 not including tip. My total came to ~14.75 if I’d left a %20 tip, which was already selected for me on the card machine This is a bit outrageous, considering everything was already prepared (kitchen wasn’t open yet.) The food’s portion certainly didn’t justify this price either.

Amazing service from don, delicious food from the kitchen (by Arnaud, veronica and dani). The environment outside of nature and town is unique. I’m really looking forward to come back or at least stop by in the future, simple list of wine by the glass but high quality. My favorite dishes the burger, the mussels and onion soup. Don’t forget that is both just a bar-restaurant but it has is own bakery for savory patisserie from pan ai chocolate and traditional croissants, overall they have also fresh French baguette served during the meal with butter 😘😎💃🤤🤤
