Lee Gimbap in Fairfax offers fresh, flavorful kimbap, generous portions, and authentic dishes. We liked their Gimbap for its high filling-to-rice ratio, along with other dishes like bibimbap and budae ramen. The ambiance was very clean, with a minimalist interior featuring graphics and posters on the walls. A self-service station for pickled radish and soup, along with a no-tip policy, was a big plus, making it an excellent option for a quick meal. They also offer small-sized desserts such as berry milk pudding and green tea panna cotta.

Some dishes we enjoyed and highly recommend: Pork Cutlet Gimbap: Pork cutlet, egg, carrot, cucumber, dakuang (yellow pickled radish), cabbage, imitation crabmeat, and rice. It’s tasty, and we love it as it has more filling than rice. Korean-style Gimbap: seasoned and marinated bulgogi with mild spicy sauce, vegetables, egg, and rice. The sauce was perfect, almost like having a bibimbap in a roll. Highly recommended for fans of bibimbap. Budae Ramen: Using Shin-ramen as a base, combined with ham and sausage, they created their version of budae ramen, also known as army ramen. Spicy, savory, and tasty. Bibimbap: good portion and filling, delicious and healthy in a bowl. I love that the beef is already mixed with a sweet and mildly spicy sauce and comes with...

New korean food place! First of all, I truly appreciate Lee gimbap coming to fairfax! It is a hot spot now and hope it continues. Second, the food tasted great however, when we went the rice seemed to be a bit old or undercooked? I could not taste the good soft texture from the rice and was not sure if carrots were meant to be raw ish. (Usually kimbaps are made with cooked carrots ) it was for the tuna kimbap. Third, there is too little tuna/ mayo in the kimbap and would appreciate if there can be more either with tuna or the mayo (or even amount) . Lastly, we were sitting at the back near the return counter and the staffs were cleaning consistently as customers go in and out. It was very disturbing to smell the lemon lyson cleaner as I am trying to enjoy the meal. However, I highly appreciate the service and great ambiance of the store and I am just leaving a feedback!:) hope to visit again soon! Maybe will try tteokbokki or...

I recently brought my kids to Lee Gimbap in Fairfax and our experience was solidly positive overall. The space is spacious, clean and casual — perfect when you’re dining with children. As a fan of K-pop demon hunters, my children loved trying out the kids gimbap and ramen combination. The ramen noodles and ttekbokki were the best match for the gimbap and they delivered a nice balance of chewiness and spice. As for the gimbaps, each roll was neatly wrapped, fresh, and light, offering a satisfying, not overly heavy, bite — great for mixing and matching flavors.

What stood out most was how the staff were patient and helpful, offering to adjust spice levels and giving small extras here and there to keep the little ones happy.. I’d definitely come back — especially when I want a casual Korean meal that works well for the...
