There were a couple of folks in my inbox pressing me to hit this spot. They pride themselves of authentic New England food, so it’s simple. I pulled up!! . Where I am: @nedsva1 . Location Reviewed: 10655 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax VA . Items Reviewed: STAMP!! Their Lobster Bisque ($6 with sherry, tarragon, cream fraiche, & oyster crackers). Creamy, warm, & delectable!!

STAMP!! Their Blueberry Maine Root Soda ($3.99). of haven’t tried this brand, get it!!

STAMP!! Their Fried Clam Strips ($23 a basket of fried clam strips, fries, slaw, & house made tartar sauce). Plentiful, not chewy, & succulent dipped in their tartar!!

STAMP!! Their Beer Battered Cod ($18 three pieces with fries, slaw, & tartar sauce). Crispy well battered fish, & STAMPED fries!!

LIKE THAT! Their Fried Green Tomatoes ($14 with a chili aioli, a soy reduction, & a corn slaw). The soy, aioli, & corn made this a winner!!

STAMP!! Their North Shore Beef Sandwich ($17 with slow roasted beef, Sweet James River BBQ sauce, hoarse radish on an onion roll with onion straws). The beef is usually rarer than what’s pictured, but I got it cooked more…GET IT!

STAMP!! Their Down East Lobster Roll ($29 with Ned’s lobster dressing, celery, & Bibb lettuce on a buttered Northeast bun). Fresh lobster, cracked in house, thick, & well sauced up!!

STAMP!! Their Whoopie Pie, & Maple Candy ($5 each). A nice chocolaty pie, with fresh cream, & a sweet tasty maple candy!! . Customer Service: On Point . Parking: Decent. . Recommendations: That roll, & beef sandwich was IT!! . Accessibility: It’s wheelchair friendly, & it’s differently abled persons friendly.

My recent visit to Ned's New England Deck in Fairfax, VA, was an absolute delight, deserving a well-earned five stars. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was nothing short of perfect. Despite its small size, the warmth and friendliness of the staff immediately made us feel at home. Their attentive service added a personal touch to our dining experience, making it all the more special.

The food, oh the food, was a genuine taste of New England. I indulged in the Whole Belly Clam Platter, which was superb. The clams were perfectly cooked, boasting a crisp exterior while remaining juicy and flavorful on the inside – a testament to the kitchen's skill and attention to detail. It's a dish I'd eagerly recommend to anyone with a love for seafood.

My wife chose the New England Clam Chowder, and it was a revelation. Thick, creamy, and rich in flavor, it was like a warm hug in a bowl. First time eating at 'Ned's Restaurant' we loved this place -- it's definitely the real deal.

It's a nice, small and cozy place with indoor and outdoor seating that reminds me of the restaurant shacks in Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard.

First this place is super clean from the entrance to the rest of the restaurant. It made a great first impression, including the restrooms. You know that food meets the highest hygiene standards after visiting the kitchen or the restroom.

My husband ordered the 'North Shore Beef'. It's a classic, thin shaved, house roast beef served warm and rare in a seeded toasted bun with hand cut fries. You can build your own! And the server will help you.

I ordered 'Down East Lobster Roll'. It's a poached lobster in a buttered bun with celery, bibb lettuce and Ned's special house lobster dressing. This roll is chilled with big chunks of lobster which makes it ever so delicious. The roll is accompanied by small kettle chips.

To drink we shared a 'Harpoon' IPA which was very good, especially for a light beer. By the way you place orders and pay at the counter then wait for your food.

Overall, the lobster roll was amazing and very tasty. I enjoyed every lobster chunk.

My husband also enjoyed his roast beef bun and said it was very good. I tried the fries and found them to be crispy and not too greasy. The presentation is simple but clean. All the condiment bottles are also clean and organized in a wood basket. They do wipe everything!
