Arby's — Restaurant in Fairfield

At 3 PM on a Thursday afternoon, I went through the drive-through at this location on the corner of Dixie Highway and Seward in Fairfield. The restaurant was not busy. There was one car ahead of me in line as a drive-through window. And I saw one couple sitting inside the dining room. I ordered a four piece mac & cheese bites. You’ll see in the photo, they were fried rock hard, were literally dripping in grease, and they were practically burnt. They had obviously, already been cooked, sat under the heat lamp till they got cold, then thrown back in the fryer, long enough to heat them back up and burn them. When I came back through the drive-through to show them at the window, what I had been given, the employee that greeted me was polite. However, the manager that the retrieved to perform the refund was not. I did ask for the manager, I do not like to complain/return food, and I do not like to leave bad reviews. However, the manager that performed my refund was unpleasant and unprofessional. It may not seem like a big deal, but I only get to go out to eat one time a week and I can spend no more than five dollars on myself on these trips. I came into this store and they tried serving me rotted meat. I ordered an American Roast Beef sandwich and when I looked at the meat it was green and yellow. Gross. Like really? I took it back in and they looked as if I stole something and lied about it. Told me to throw the sandwich away and he will make another one. Of course I had to check it again and there it was hidden under a few sliced pieces of clean meat. Never again. Wonder how many people got sick that night. Customer service was horrible, no one said sorry. Not like the good old days when customers were appreciated for coming to their store and spending your money on good food. Times have really changed. I hate going to places that don't show you courtesy. Watch your food people. The higher the prices go the quality of your food goes down. You don't get your money's worth. I'm a long time Arby's regular roast beef lover. Not any more. Even before the price went up here recently I had problems with receiving regular roast beef sandwiches with practically no meat...about 3 or 4 slices total. Now they're 2 for 7 instead of 2 for 6. Same problem at this location. I don't know the lady's name but she's really tall and heavy set...it seems to be the days she's working that the roast beef sandwiches come with not enough meat to feed a 3 year old. I'm a hungry blue collar worker that wants what you offer in your slogan...we have the meats. At this Arby's...you have the bread. They gave me a hard time when I asked for a refund and offered to make me new sandwiches instead. Thanks but no thanks. I like mine without spit I said. And that's the last time I'll ever go there.
