March 2023 update. A few weeks ago we had a substantial order for delivery which included about 18 rolls. Not one single butter packet was included!
Tonight’s delivery was an even worse experience.
First, an order of pancakes was noted with a request of extra butter. Once again we received NO butter. Is it really that difficult if a task to put them in the bag?
Second, it should go without saying that any pancake or French toast should be accompanied with syrup. Guess what else we received none of - syrup!
Lastly, I clearly put “gravy on side” for a side of mashed potatoes because I was unsure if the person I ordered them for liked the gravy or not. Well the gravy was added on top and wouldn’t you know it, she dislikes that gravy and therefore would not eat the mashed potatoes.
This location has a fundamental inability to fulfill logical and basic actions to complete an order correctly. They clearly also have the inability to follow simple instructions when the order spells them out. It is becoming one of those situations where anymore I can count on something being wrong with any given order.
At least if you’re dining in you can ask for all of the things they missed or for wrong but for a delivery order the details count - something that is evidently a challenge here.
— Update: 2 years later. Some things don’t change. To go orders are almost guaranteed to be wrong. There is no accountability which is clearly an indication of poor management top-down. It’s sad.

This place is going downhill at lightning speed. They habitually run out of certain food more and more lately.
Picking up an order? Good luck. The food is generally available 30 minutes or so AFTER the quoted pickup time. Hope you enjoy your time being wasted.
My last visit to pick up food made evident that there is absolutely no organization. 5 people were all waiting for their orders, those running the counter were scrambling in utter chaos and there wasn’t a manager to be found.

Read moreI will Never Order from this location ever again! This was our first time ordering on-line & went through Door Dash. I don't think it was Door Dash's fault, as they were here very quick. But not all of our order was in the bag & they sent the wrong desert, so I tried to call Bob Evans & tell them. No one answered & I tried calling 4 times! So I went over there with my receipt & the wrong desert they sent. When I got there, the woman was talking about a cruise vacation with another couple & she saw me standing there, but kept talking! When they left, she finally asked me what I needed. I told her about the missing food & desert. She said they could substitute another desert if they were out of the one you wanted. "But a cookie instead of a slice of pie"!!!! She wanted to know what name it was under, so I handed her my receipt. She took it and then asked if I wanted another kind of pie & I said yes. So she disappeared for about 10 minutes. Finally the missing food came up (vegetable & dinner rolls). The phone was ringing off the hook & the young man who was bagging everything up started to answer & she told him to forget about that phone, as she was tired of listening to it! That's why I couldn't get through to them! Then after she bagged up my food, I asked her where my receipt was and she look around & said, "Oh I must have thrown it away." Read moreI'll start this review by stating that as long as I have been regularly visiting Bob Evans restaurants I've never experienced the level of poor service we received tonight. This is not the norm or at least it hasn't been in the past.
The young man who seated us tonight was not very cordial and quite frankly seemed put out for having to seat us. Our server took 10 to 12 minutes just to visit the table to get our drink order. Our food sat under the heat on the counter for another 10 minutes while our server and two other employees talked. It wasn't until our server still in conversation made eye contact with me that she even remembered she had customers. When she finally brought out our food she had forgotten to bring out a couple of items. She returned about 5 minutes later asking how everything tasted completely forgetting about the missing items. When we finally had her return we requested refills on our drinks and our check but neither were brought to us so we had to pay without a check.
After managing restaurants for many years myself this bad visit was enough for me not to return to this restaurant. There is a larger problem when so many of the employees appear to be miserable and provide the level of service we received tonight. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this Bob Evans restaurant in the future.
The one star was for the food that was still good even after sitting under the heat...
