Let me say, before I begin, that I ordered my meal late at night (literally 45 mins before the place closed, the app I used didn't mention business hours). I assume that the quality is much better during the day when the staff isn't busy trying to close the place (based on the pictures from other reviewers, I would say this is a fair assumption). With that being said, the food quality was better than expected for the price point. For ~$27 I got a large one topping pizza, 12 wings, garlic bread, and a 2 liter.
The pizza was thinner than I prefer, but it is about par for what I normally see in pizzerias in the area. It was also fairly greasy, which didn't affect the flavor, but did make it messier to eat. The crust lacked a certain crunchiness that I like in thin pizza, but, again, that's about par for pizza at this price point, in this area. Overall, its not the best pizza I've had, but it is far, far, far from the worst. I would take it, hands down, over any of the chain pizza shops (dominos, pizza hut, etc.) but there are some better options closer to me that I prefer. If you're nearby, and want a large meal of decent quality food, this is a good option.
The wings were well done. They had a crunchy skin with a moist interior, but they were a bit bland (not unexpected since they are 'plain' wings). They have other options for wings (like bbq and hot) that I haven't tried yet, so maybe those are better tasting. Again, leagues better than most chain stores.
The garlic bread was a bit boring, just a sub roll with garlic butter basically. Nothing bad, but also nothing good, that stood out to me. The marinara sauce is the typical tomato with oregano type deal, not my personal preference, but again, nothing wrong with it, taste is fine for what it is.
I don't think I will buy here again, but thats not due to quality. There are just better options closer to me. If I happen to be in the area again, I would eat there, but that is unlikely for me. If forced to choose between this and a chain store, 100% this. The food is just not exciting enough for me to go out of my way to order it. Good deal, fair quality food, I didn't have enough interaction with the staff to comment on them, the one guy who handed me my order seemed nice enough and, considering how late I ordered, they were...
Read moreThis is one of the best pizza places in Fairfield. I never had a problem with my order when I have it delivered. Lately when I go to pick up the pizza it is never right. I always order pepperoni and black olives. When I got home I only had pepperoni. I am not one to complain so I just ate what I had. Second time when I ordered pizza I made sure she understood my order. Went to pick it up and took it home. My order was not right it had green olives on it instead black olives. I just figured I would try it, It look good very salty. Could not finish anymore. It made me sick. I will continue to do take out but check my order before I leave. I have been getting pizza here for years and never had this...
Read moreDo Not come here. The owner harasses you the moment he feels you are parking there to walk away and go shopping. Let me tell you about the time I pulled into the lot and my youngest child ran to meet his friend at the corner to walk him over (it was his friend’s first time going there), as my son runs out of my car, my other kids (teens) was getting out and I was turning my car off and what do I hear? A grown man yelling to the kids not to park here. With rude words in between. So you can imagine momma bear mode kicked in and I lost my head. He just ruined our family night out with friends. I was coming with a ton of teens and kids meeting up to hang there. Not...
